Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome back to the Maths Many podcast with
me Joshua Fox, and today I have many big updates
for you on the mess that has become this year's
cast attending the Australian Fashion Week, where there has been
endless reunions and endless awkward moments. And also who knew
that all of this year's cast were such Fashion east
(00:21):
as I thought Fashion used to be this big, prestigious event,
but in Sydney now it's like, oh, you're a mass,
coming down and sit on the front row. I also
have a slight code, so please excuse it if I
sound a bit flemmy here. And my new husband is
currently by my side, half asleep as trying to be
quite now as I record this on location, so I
(00:43):
excuse if the audio isn't up to its usual scratch.
But for now, let's start with the first big thing
of the week, and that's matha versus Carina. So yesterday
there was a random thing in a big daily Metle
article about Fashion Week that stated that Martha, who I
don't need to explain who Martha is. We all know
(01:04):
who Martha is. She apparently snubbed Carina while walking past
her at Fashion Week. There was a quote from an
onlooker about how Martha apparently didn't want to speak to
or take a picture with Karna, and Karna was her
and then publicists are trying to make it happen. And
now these people were saying there's a feud in this drama.
And yesterday I just I saw Corina at Fashion Week,
(01:26):
so I went, yeah, what happened with Martha? And she
said this, No, I.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Was doing a interview with my mom by the Carlo
Z and Patty PR girls and it just had been
the worst time impossible. Martha had to like walk quickly
walk past us to get out of the show. And
then I was like, oh oh, and the PR girl
was like, wait, what damn it? You know we have
to cut and start again. And I was like, wait,
(01:51):
I'm actually a fan of her, but I could see
she was leaving the show, and the PR girl went
up and tried to like tried to get her back,
but she goes, oh, I'm so sorry. I'm I got
to get my uber. But that's fine. I'm such a
fan of Martha. I've always looked up to her, and
I really enjoy seeing the content that she creates online.
She's showing that, you know, people from reality TV shows
(02:13):
can create amazing partnerships with really high end lux brands,
and I'm super inspired by that.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
And still on the subject of Karna this week, it's
actually been nice seeing her and Jamie hanging out and
in each other's content, because just a month or so ago,
at that big Daily Mal reunion weekend that I attended,
I did notice that them two didn't seem to particularly
like each other. And it wasn't like mean girl drama
where they were bitching and making people take sides. It
(02:43):
was more like I noticed how they would constantly sit
away from each other. They rarely spoke. If someone was
taking like a group picture and one of them wouldn't
go in it to be seen with the other, and
like the tensions were kind of felt by everyone. And
I'm told that since then, the girls have sat down
had a big chat cleared the air regarding things that
(03:04):
happened on the show, like remember when all the girls
did get divided around the retreat time, And yeah, I
suppose they just kind of had that chat they should
have maybe had months ago, but didn't because so much
was happening as the show aired and all these things
came back to the surface. But for me, this is
like a cute update as remember this season kind of
became the season of go power towards the end. So
(03:25):
I'm all for this. I'm all for friendship and peace
and harmony in the world. I don't know why I
just said that. It sounds like I'm doing fucking Miss
Australia or something. Anyway, away from harmony in the world,
back to some drama and Adrian has been back in
the headlines this week, and not for really great reasons. Firstly,
(03:46):
his attendance at fashion Week has pissed off many people
who enjoy fashion and are in the fashion world because
whereas so many people across Australia dream of being invited
to such a thing and being part of that world.
And this Adrian as he arrived at his first show,
the Carla zam Patty. I think it was called I
(04:07):
am Ship with Designer? Is not gonna lie? Adrian? Yeah,
he said this as he arrived in an interview with
so Sidney Adrian were reunited.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
I know I'm everywhere and nowhere at once. Is this
our very first fashion week ever?
Speaker 1 (04:22):
It is actually first time? How are you feeling for it.
I don't know what to expect. I've never even heard
of it, to be honest, do.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Your fashion week in general.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Like kind of admire his honestly, But if you have
been invited to a show by a certain designer or whatever,
maybe like just pretend you know who they are or
pretend you want to be there. Just is that obvious
or is that just me? Or just don't go. There's
also been some articles this past week about how Adrian
signed with Roxy Jasenko's Ministry of Talent agency as an
(04:55):
influencer and was then dropped by the agency days later.
Roxy has since confirmed that this is true. She no
longer reps him, but she didn't say why. Adrian then
gave a quote to Yahoo that was kind of like, yeah,
these things happen, and it's all a bit random because
no one's actually said why he was dropped And this
is me just speculating, but I reckon his signing to
(05:19):
that agency was done by like Roxy or one of
her team who maybe hadn't watched all of the season
and they just initially looked at Adrian's social numbers because
I think he's just gone over one hundred thousand on
TikTok and every year as a season ends. I know,
there's so many agencies like this who scramble to just
get Maths people signed to their roster. And I reckon,
(05:41):
you know, someone rushed to sign Adrian without maybe doing
a deeper dive into the public perception of him and
everything that's been said about him. And I suppose then
once they did that, after announcing their signing, they probably fought, uh, yeah,
that was a mistake, not for us, see you later. Uh.
That's That's the only logical reason I can think behind this,
(06:05):
which is maybe proof maybe before any of us do
anything in life, a bit of due diligence, you know,
background checks, research, you know, look at who we're aligning
ourselves with. Did actually that right? Do? Do? Do?
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Do?
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Deal? I'm so tired. I'm not gonna lie due diligence.
There you go. Anyway, back to Fashion Week and Jackie
and Clint have returned to Sydney to be a part
of the fashions celebrations. What do you even say, I
really don't know anything about fashion Week. Anyway, As they
arrived at one show, they did a chat with SO
Sydney about their big plans and what's next? Then Jackie
(06:41):
is focusing on fashion right.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
So Jackie and Clint have officially arrived at Fashion Weeks.
How are we feeling for the week ahead?
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Excited?
Speaker 4 (06:51):
It's gonna be very busy. I'm actually hair buying with
Cloth Lifestyle Rotake, so it's back to back showings for me.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Already tired just at the thought of it, or already
to go? So ready to go.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
I'm nervous because I'm supposed to be creating like a
social campaign launch and I have no idea what I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
So don't we all, babe, don't we all? I'm super excited.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
I I actually don't know what to expect a lot
of these events, so my first time and just yeah
turning up.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Yeah, So what does.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
The schedule look like for the rest of the week.
Is it back to back shows or have we got
a few breaks in between? What have you got planned?
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Yeah, it's back to back showings, so here buying, not
just looking. I'm I've got a partnership coming up with
Cloth Lifestyle Boutique, so I'm getting everyone a discount code
for literal designer brands. So one above fast fashion, we're
saying goodbye to all those fast fashion brands. I'm saying
hello to Anita Bang and Becan Woods, Kavari one of
(07:43):
others like all our favorite brands. So I'm your girl.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
You guys are all gonna have me to thank Yeah,
what can we expect on the on the fit front?
Oh don't expect much, honestly, Clinton, I shared a suitcase
to save money. This was something I just throwed last
minute because it's my comfiest dress and my favorite boots.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
But I hadn't done a blow wave today. I'm like,
everyone's gone to hear and I'm just showing out.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
I look found out.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Last night and I was hung.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Get.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
I actually didn't think it was gonna be in a bit.
I thought it would just be like a We didn't
know what to expect.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
So there's a lot of maps people in town. Is
there any plans to catch up with anyone or are
we just kind of going to stick to doing our
own thing?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
No plans at all, But what was I got a
lot of trauma that I'm processing at the momentum.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Protecting your pace.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
We love that.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
We love that.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yesterday it also apparently got awkward as Jackie and Clint
arrived at Carriage works where most of the shows are,
and while they were stood doing pictures in the big
outdoor area where like all the bloggers and models and
stars and photographers are kind of chill and roam around
taking pics and interviews. Just a few meters behind them
as they were posing, there was Jamie Elliott and Carina
(08:53):
and all the Farmer coastars seemingly very much ignored each other,
And so Sydney posted a this moment, which they captioned, well,
that was deeply uncomfortable. But Jackie has since commented on
that real saying, this is not accurate news. We all
get along and caught up after this. We were just
(09:15):
in high demand this afternoon, all getting poured in different directions. However,
Clint and I tend to avoid drama at our cost.
Now it's a distraction from his golf and our businesses
xex fair enough. I'm just ad that I missed their
arrival because I literally left that area minutes earlier. I
(09:35):
kind of like being a part of awkward moments like that,
or maybe, as Jackie said, it wasn't an awkward moment,
but yeah, nonetheless, I would have liked to have been
there to see it with my own eyes, and also
shout out to so Sydney because I have been slacking
lately with the content with so much other stuff going
on in my life and just getting back to my
day job and getting married. And yeah, so good on
(09:55):
them for being across all of this. And I have
seen some confusion online and people asking do I run
that page or edit that page or on that page,
because people apparently think I do, and no I don't.
I have zero involvement in so Sydney other than the
fact I am friends with Ben who owns it, and
a very talented journalist called Catchia does all the content
(10:17):
there and the articles and the socials with the help
of another young talent called Celia, And I kind of
love the fact that people somehow have assumed off think
it's me doing that whole page and website and socials,
because what they're doing on there is great. But I
will not take credit for someone else's hard work. But
I will say how they're growing that platform as not
(10:40):
just like a place for entertainment that appeals to people
a love Australia with these like married a first site
chats and celebrity chats, but just as like a lifestyle
site specifically for people in Sydney to be across events,
new places to go, things to do is great, So yeah,
follow them on Instagram or TikTok at so Sydney Au
(11:01):
or visit the website if you wish to. And now
lastly for some other potentially incoming drama. Now Sierra is
back on her socials. She has been alluding to having
endured some pretty bad stuff throughout the process of the
show that she's now biding her time before talking about
(11:22):
in full and I suppose revealing. And when she got
her socials back earlier this week, the first thing she
did was took married at First Sight out of her
bio and she changed it to too hot to be
a victim. And then in her first post, which was
like a cute picture of her smiling and looking happy
like an outdoor bar restaurant if she would just sat outside,
she wrote face card never declined even during a breakdown,
(11:46):
Hot and healing anyway. Then in some Instagram stories, she
shared a picture of her smiling on her wedding day,
followed by one of her crying at a commitment ceremony
later on in the experiment, and she then for me
to look the way I did. After five weeks, something
had to have happened. Women don't break themselves down like that.
(12:08):
I was silenced in the media because the truth was
a liability. The people who caused me harm have controlled
the narrative for long enough. I will speak soon, and
in all honesty, I've got no idea what she is like,
hinting at, alluding to, so I suppose we will wait
(12:29):
and see what she does say when she's ready to speak,
And yeah, I'll update you, guys, But for now, I'm
gonna take a limpship and go back to bed because
this code is very annoying. How a lovely day, guys.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
I
