Vi pratar om tidsperioder Mallorquinerna av olika anledningar helst vill glömma. Helena känner ingen sympati för förkylningar utan tänker bara på fest och jordbruksmässor mitt i påskpyntandet. Catharina njuter av rosévin i El Molinars nya hamn men bekymrar sig för en stor utgift på bussen i Palma.

Son Armadams förtjänar mer uppmärksamhet tycker vi. Tennisklubben, Auditoriet och Plaza Puente är riktiga landmärken i den trevliga men lite bortglömda stadsdelen. Helena hackar lite på en glömsk Catharina men glömmer själv bort att hon har bott här. Precis lika förvirrande och härligt som alltid.

Helena tackar alltid ja till en smarrig chupito med Hierbas. Kan hon nu locka en mycket skeptisk Catharina med en Hierbas Spritz? Är du på Team Helena eller Team Catharina? Vi bävar för regn och snö medan vi drömmer om sol, fotboll, karneval och nya restauranger.

Helena vandrar i kvarteren där caféer, barer och restauranger samsas med järnhandlare, barberare, strumpaffär och lyxrenoverade townhouse. Hon körar (nästan) åt Annie Lennox och Catharina inspirerar (nästan) till en ny tv-serie.

Nu vet vi varför det röda huset vid Plaza Gomila är just rött! Vi trampar runt i Mallorcas skohistoria och i Campers erövrande av världen i skoaffärer, i klädbutiker, på hotellrum, bland inredning och i det nya kvarteret runt Plaza Gomila. Så blir det rökning, tyllkjolar och vindruvskrig.
