Welcome to episode 71 of Marbella with Him & Her, the Marbella podcast they are all talking about!
This week they went on a trip to Seville to see Kylie in concert at the stunning Plaza de España but before they set off, Hannah managed to convince PJ to join her at the Bootcamp Pilates class in Estepona where he had his very first experience of reformer Pilates. Apart from a few awkward positions with feet and arms, all seemed to go quite well...until late that evening when his muscles started to fight back. (@bootcamp_pilates_espana)
The Kylie concert was outstanding and the trip to Seville was great fun with a pre-concert tapas crawl, a much needed siesta and then Hannah surprising PJ looking stunning in her gold hotpants, in true Kylie style. Hear how the concert went on the podcast and their amazing healthy breakfast at Billy Brunch, voted one of the best breakfast venues in Seville @billybrunchsevilla
As soon as they got back, it was a quick turnaround to head out to a launch party for a new restaurant called Cesme Bazlama Kahvalti which has just opened in the Benamara area of Estepona. It is mainly a Turkish tea and brunch venue with a unique all you can eat Turkish brunch which contains lots of homemade family recipe dishes from Turkey. The décor is incredible with turquoise and pinks. It is part of a small group that also has venues in Turkey and Dubai and is set to be a popular brunch / lunch venue. (@bazlamakahvalti.es)
A notable interview this week was with Maria Bravo (@mariabravo) of the Global Gift Foundation (@globalgiftfoundation). Hannah saw that her friend Nike Ede (@nickede) was hosting the event and he put her in touch with Maria. The Global Gift Foundation is headed up by Maria Bravo and Eva Longoria (@evalongoria) and they work had to raise much needed funds for some charities they have set up for helping children in Vietnam, India and in Marbella with Casa Angeles.
Hannah was also very excited to set up an interview with the author of Hotel Babylon, Imogen Edward Jones (@iedwardsjones), who has co-written a book with James Patterson (@jamespattersonbooks) called The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe.
They also talk about the Sunday market at the Kempinski, Hannah's pool day with Nikki and family at El Ancla, bowling in Los Arqueros, drinks at La Fria and dinner at Luini.
This weeks Sur in English articles include 35 to 40 degrees weather alerts, The Script and Pet Shop Boys at Starlite and Antonio Banderas directing Godspell at his Malaga theatre.
There is another reminder of the competition coming next week on their San Pedro Guide so make sure you are following @sanpedromarbellaguide where you will find out how you can win a €50 voucher for the Hogan Stand in San Pedro (@thehoganstand)
They finish with some tips on what to do with families and children on the Costa del Sol during the summer.
