(03:20):
Yeah, well that's awesome.
And you know it.
We all have to go on journeys throughout our life and somehow we always find our way back to what we want to be doing and what we really enjoy.
So that's a very cool part of it.
Joining the Diablo partner program is no small deal.
You have a really awesome origin story that got you in.

(03:42):
Now I got to hear this story.
Now I want you to tell everybody, because I heard this story and I was like, that is amazing.
So let's hear it. 77 00:03:49,909.5 --> 00:03:54,409.5 Yeah, I think, um, kind of comes back to the origin of where I started streaming from. 78 00:03:54,409.5 --> 00:03:56,839.5 I don't know if that's a related question, but, um.
Yeah, no.
Yeah, let's hear it. 81 00:03:58,654.5 --> 00:03:59,734.5 I started streaming. 82 00:03:59,794.5 --> 00:04:04,954.5 Um, well, the reason I got into content creation was funny enough, playing with my Houseman BLO three. 83 00:04:05,404.5 --> 00:04:08,854.5 Um, I was working out some builders like, man, why are you kicking ass? And I'm struggling over here. 84 00:04:08,854.5 --> 00:04:09,424.5 I'm like, I don't know. 85 00:04:09,424.5 --> 00:04:10,174.5 This just makes sense. 86 00:04:10,174.5 --> 00:04:11,674.5 I use this skill, this skill, this skill. 87 00:04:11,854.5 --> 00:04:13,954.5 This set kind of incorporates that damage with this. 88 00:04:13,954.5 --> 00:04:14,674.5 Like, it just makes sense. 89 00:04:14,674.5 --> 00:04:17,824.5 He's like, what are you doing? I'm like, oh man, you got everything wrong over there. 90 00:04:17,824.5 --> 00:04:20,554.5 I didn't even play Paladin, but I could just tell like, that's not working. 91 00:04:20,764.5 --> 00:04:21,694.5 So I started doing things. 92 00:04:22,834.5 --> 00:04:23,824.5 Man, you should start doing this. 93 00:04:23,824.5 --> 00:04:24,394.5 Look at these guys. 94 00:04:24,394.5 --> 00:04:26,584.5 They're streaming, like they're doing really well. 95 00:04:26,644.5 --> 00:04:28,025 We could do like That's cool. 96 00:04:28,534.5 --> 00:04:30,424.5 And I was like, ah, nah, I didn't have time for that. 97 00:04:30,424.5 --> 00:04:31,384.5 I've got a full-time job. 98 00:04:31,384.5 --> 00:04:32,764.5 I'm, I'm focusing on my promotion. 99 00:04:33,124.5 --> 00:04:37,294.5 Yeah, I guess it got to Borderlands three when that came out. 100 00:04:37,294.5 --> 00:04:42,394.5 And, you know, there were all these amazing content creators pulling out, you know, crazy ass build guides. 101 00:04:42,754.5 --> 00:04:45,424.5 And I had this build, it was an old radiation moss build. 102 00:04:45,724.5 --> 00:04:49,015 Um, I called it ROI mos because I just used Nice. 103 00:04:49,204.5 --> 00:04:53,794.5 get in the eye bear drop two nukes and just completely ra, radiate everything, infinite healing. 104 00:04:53,824.5 --> 00:05:00,754.5 And I could do all the end game content and probably only like a couple minutes slower than like world record builds, which was pretty cool. 105 00:05:01,54.5 --> 00:05:02,74.5 So I put that out. 106 00:05:02,164.5 --> 00:05:02,494.5 Um. 107 00:05:02,884.5 --> 00:05:04,114.5 Terrible quality. 108 00:05:04,144.5 --> 00:05:17,14.5 Got quite a good views, few views on YouTube, I had to, I was just ging from Xbox at the time, so I couldn't just record from, I had to live stream to Twitch, upload it, and then download it to upload to YouTube. 109 00:05:17,704.5 --> 00:05:21,784.5 And when I was going through the recording, there were people in there chatting like, Hey man, this is really cool. 110 00:05:21,784.5 --> 00:05:25,834.5 What's going on? Huh.

(05:31):
That is really cool. 115 00:05:33,334.5 --> 00:05:36,645 So from there, I guess, um, you know, I. 116 00:05:36,784.5 --> 00:05:49,114.5 until I was playing a game, evil Dead, um, uh, which is a a a four V one, asymmetrical horror, PVE and I, I played a lot of demon, which is like, you know, the one verse four. 117 00:05:49,534.5 --> 00:05:52,589.5 And I had strategies that were outside of the norm that I worked on and. 118 00:05:53,209.5 --> 00:05:56,329.5 You know, I was beating almost every team, like on OCE servers. 119 00:05:56,329.5 --> 00:05:58,459.5 I was known as one of the best demons in the entire game.

(05:59):
Oh wow.
That's impressive. 122 00:06:00,754.5 --> 00:06:02,734.5 Yeah, so I was friends with a lot of content creators. 123 00:06:02,734.5 --> 00:06:06,184.5 I used to hang out with them and play Survivor side, and they're like, man, you gotta stream, you gotta do it. 124 00:06:06,184.5 --> 00:06:07,204.5 I'm like, no, no, no, it's fine. 125 00:06:07,204.5 --> 00:06:09,814.5 Like, we wanna see your strategies, you gotta do it. 126 00:06:09,814.5 --> 00:06:15,754.5 So I started streaming and because I was known through the community, I, you know, I got affiliate in like four days. 127 00:06:16,84.5 --> 00:06:21,64.5 Um, you know, I got to, you know, a hundred, 200, um, followers, like really, really quick. 128 00:06:21,64.5 --> 00:06:24,304.5 And, and the growth happened in, in four, six months, three months. 129 00:06:24,334.5 --> 00:06:26,14.5 Um, it was awesome. 130 00:06:26,434.5 --> 00:06:26,854.5 And. 131 00:06:27,679.5 --> 00:06:31,69.5 D four was coming out and that was the love, like it was my passion. 132 00:06:31,99.5 --> 00:06:34,909.5 It's my one of my favorite two franchises of all time other than Borderlands. 133 00:06:35,749.5 --> 00:06:37,309.5 And so I dropped all that. 134 00:06:37,309.5 --> 00:06:43,365 I was doing all right on views, and I took 11 days off for D four launch Okay.

(06:43):
Nice. 136 00:06:43,999.5 --> 00:06:46,309.5 and I had like two to seven viewers. 137 00:06:46,309.5 --> 00:06:47,419.5 It was terrible. 138 00:06:47,779.5 --> 00:06:49,669.5 It like kind of broke my heart.
Oh no. 140 00:06:53,119.5 --> 00:06:55,789.5 You remember Oh, when you first started, like the little baby view days.
yeah.
100%.
Yep.
Oh yeah.
Absolutely.
I, I remember not too long ago having my average be about three people just watching the stream.

(07:04):
Yep. 148 00:07:04,879.5 --> 00:07:05,239.5 Yep. 149 00:07:05,929.5 --> 00:07:10,115 And it kind of sucks when you go from 30 to like three Mm-hmm. 150 00:07:10,309.5 --> 00:07:10,879.5 change. 151 00:07:11,929.5 --> 00:07:17,299.5 And so I was like, you know, I stuck to it for a couple of months and I went, you know, another game came out. 152 00:07:17,299.5 --> 00:07:23,299.5 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, PVE, which I built my community on, even though I didn't really like the game, I didn't like the gameplay. 153 00:07:23,569.5 --> 00:07:24,439.5 I didn't really care for it. 154 00:07:24,679.5 --> 00:07:25,129.5 Um. 155 00:07:25,189.5 --> 00:07:30,469.5 I like I sold out on, on my love of, of stopping what I wanted to do, to do something that I felt like I had to do. 156 00:07:30,469.5 --> 00:07:32,359.5 And I'm, I'm really not happy about that decision now. 157 00:07:32,359.5 --> 00:07:35,629.5 Like I think gotta be in it to do, do it for the love. 158 00:07:35,719.5 --> 00:07:37,429.5 Like I'm not a full-time streamer. 159 00:07:37,879.5 --> 00:07:42,439.5 Um, I think if it's a full-time streamer for me it becomes my job, my day-to-day. 160 00:07:42,439.5 --> 00:07:46,849.5 And I don't make the same decisions that I would do as now when it comes from the love and the passion.

(07:47):
Right.
Yeah, it makes sense. 163 00:07:49,339.5 --> 00:07:49,849.5 I. 164 00:07:50,974.5 --> 00:07:57,394.5 A couple months later, someone joined my Discord and you know, you know when you get the bot and the spam people that join your Discord, they're trying to harass you and sell you stuff.
Uhhuh.
Yeah.
Oh yeah. 168 00:08:00,4.5 --> 00:08:02,824.5 I nearly banned bloodshed from my Discord when he joined.
Wow.
Oh God.
.5Could you imagine? Oh, that would've been terrible. 172 00:08:10,114.5 --> 00:08:12,574.5 Um, oh, that would've been the biggest mistake of my life. 173 00:08:12,574.5 --> 00:08:17,224.5 But yeah, so Bloodshed joined my discord and I thought this time, oh, I'm just gonna Google search who they were. 174 00:08:17,224.5 --> 00:08:19,255 I was on my way to work Mm-hmm. 175 00:08:19,699.5 --> 00:08:23,749.5 Digital marketing manager Blizzard, what the hell? And I looked it off on YouTube. 176 00:08:23,749.5 --> 00:08:28,9.5 I'm like, what? 120 K sobs over a hundred k follows on Twitch. 177 00:08:28,99.5 --> 00:08:32,779.5 And I messaged a couple of my mods and they're like, man, what's he, what's he doing down here with us? I'm like, I don't know. 178 00:08:33,769.5 --> 00:08:39,589.5 Next day I woke up, um, and it said, Hey, I was combing through the community for popular clips. 179 00:08:39,994.5 --> 00:08:45,124.5 And I just wanted to reach out, um, to ask if it was okay to use your video at Blues Con. 180 00:08:45,484.5 --> 00:08:47,854.5 I was like, first thing it was like popular clips. 181 00:08:48,214.5 --> 00:08:49,654.5 Stream is like three people. 182 00:08:49,654.5 --> 00:08:54,309.5 What do you mean popular clips? I had nothing that was popular and I went back and I. 183 00:08:55,339.5 --> 00:09:05,299.5 Um, featured a clip of me like reaching level 100 in that, that first like week, and I was like, level Oh, let's go. 184 00:09:05,539.5 --> 00:09:10,999.5 And like, it's just this excitement because it was like a 10 hour grind or eight hour grind to get that last Yeah, It was brutal.

(09:11):
people love that.
People love that stuff. 187 00:09:13,549.5 --> 00:09:16,309.5 And man, I had like 400, 500 views on a clip. 188 00:09:16,309.5 --> 00:09:22,879.5 I'm like, what? What happened there? And then I got kinda like schoolgirl, giggled stuff. 189 00:09:23,359.5 --> 00:09:27,709.5 I don't think, I've been so nervous in my life where I was like, oh my gosh, like for real. 190 00:09:27,709.5 --> 00:09:28,969.5 Like I've always wanted to go to BlizzCon. 191 00:09:28,969.5 --> 00:09:32,959.5 It's like one of like things I've aspired to, to attend my whole life. 192 00:09:32,959.5 --> 00:09:35,854.5 Go to like games Con BlizzCon, those type of events. 193 00:09:35,854.5 --> 00:09:38,659.5 Like even from playing Overwatch and yeah. 194 00:09:38,809.5 --> 00:09:46,519.5 Um, it went through, I watched BlizzCon, it was there, and yeah, a year later we had the one year anniversary video for. 195 00:09:46,594.5 --> 00:09:48,64.5 Uh, Diablo. 196 00:09:48,544.5 --> 00:09:52,984.5 Um, again, they asked to use my clip, the same one for that video, and I said, yep. 197 00:09:52,984.5 --> 00:09:59,524.5 And from there I got invited back to the Diablo partnership program, but that blue sky I was like, you know what? I'm going in. 198 00:09:59,614.5 --> 00:10:00,484.5 I'm going in on Diablo. 199 00:10:00,514.5 --> 00:10:01,654.5 It's my passion, it's my love. 200 00:10:01,714.5 --> 00:10:10,264.5 And I just really pushed and, know, got some, started putting out some build guides, gaining some traction, yeah, continue to grow the community with something I love. 201 00:10:10,864.5 --> 00:10:15,399.5 feel like sometimes you have to start again if you're new, but it's worth it if that's your passion, that's what you care about.

(10:18):
Yeah.
That's awesome.
And I mean, what a, what an origin story though.
From being almost out on Diablo four because the streaming itself was something that kind of took some of the fun out of it to hopping into the Diablo partner program.
And now look at you still making videos and it's really, really cool.

(10:40):
So that's a really great story th thank you for sharing that with everybody. 208 00:10:43,69.5 --> 00:10:43,459.5 Oh, thanks.
Season nine is in full swing right now.
.5What has been your favorite part of playing this season right now? Ooh. 211 00:10:54,994.5 --> 00:10:57,394.5 To be honest, my favorite part was the day one grind. 212 00:10:57,604.5 --> 00:10:58,534.5 I know you were there for it. 213 00:10:58,984.5 --> 00:11:00,285 Um, Oh yeah. 214 00:11:01,84.5 --> 00:11:01,804.5 it was unexpected. 215 00:11:01,804.5 --> 00:11:07,114.5 'cause you invited me to the day one, uh, mobile lytics, um, race to T four. 216 00:11:07,114.5 --> 00:11:07,384.5 Right.

(11:08):
Yeah, that was super fun. 218 00:11:10,84.5 --> 00:11:11,745 How did that idea That was a lot of fun.
The idea started with immortalize.
Actually.
I'd pop into a stream.
We were getting close to the end of season eight every single season.
I put out a bunch of groups.
I think last season and this season we had probably close to 50 groups that we put together.

(11:31):
Randomly assign the groups.
They all go out together.
At the very start of the season, they play together.
They get to explore all the new content.
It's probably my favorite time of the season.
You get to meet a whole bunch of new people, share gear, level up together.
So he knew that I did something like that and proposed that maybe like him and I have a little friendly competition.
We have, we put groups out, we have a race that very, very, very quickly spiraled into let's get everybody, and we started working on getting sponsors and we started working on reaching out to other content creators and posting on social media.

(12:08):
And we ended up having like 25, 30 teams racing.
I think.
It was really, really fun.
We learned a lot, so there will be another race.
We made a whole bunch of mistakes that we will be fixing, so for anybody that didn't get to join the race, it's gonna be happening next season.
It's gonna be very fun.
.5What was, what was your experience with the race? So I, I said to you like, oh, 'cause it was, the season launch was my first week at, oh, it was my last week at my current job. 240 00:12:39,139.5 --> 00:12:44,659.5 I've been there for a couple of years and, I recently resigned and, you know, got a new job. 241 00:12:44,659.5 --> 00:12:47,119.5 It's like a double promotion in digital marketing space. 242 00:12:47,359.5 --> 00:12:48,630 So I Oh, congratulations. 243 00:12:48,664.5 --> 00:12:51,184.5 couldn't take that day off, middle of the week of my last week. 244 00:12:51,184.5 --> 00:12:57,754.5 I mean, I put my four weeks notice in, but so what, you know, I went to bed super early 'cause it was 3:00 AM for me in Australia, like it's brutal. 245 00:12:57,964.5 --> 00:12:59,610 Every season Yeah, that's I. 246 00:13:00,964.5 --> 00:13:02,854.5 every campfire chat, I lose sleep. 247 00:13:02,854.5 --> 00:13:07,354.5 I go to bed, like get two hours sleep, wake up, watch the campfire, go back to sleep for two hours, go to work. 248 00:13:07,654.5 --> 00:13:09,214.5 Uh, it's rough, but.

.5So I know this, not a lot of people know this yet if they haven't known you, but so is your main class, where did that start and then kind of what drew you to that class? Well, I started in D three, I played Wizard. 301 00:15:43,69.5 --> 00:15:45,109.5 Um, I love the Firebird build. 302 00:15:45,109.5 --> 00:15:45,139.5 I. 303 00:15:45,484.5 --> 00:15:46,654.5 I actually love Frozen. 304 00:15:46,654.5 --> 00:15:47,734.5 It was probably my favorite. 305 00:15:47,734.5 --> 00:15:52,414.5 So when it came to um, D four, I played the open beta. 306 00:15:52,414.5 --> 00:15:55,564.5 I played every class I got, I leveled everyone to 25. 307 00:15:55,654.5 --> 00:15:57,244.5 Um, I got my shava kill. 308 00:15:57,544.5 --> 00:16:01,714.5 Um, I actually struggled with, so in the open beta, so was kind of like underperforming. 309 00:16:01,984.5 --> 00:16:07,714.5 I tested every ability and the only one I could find to do any decent damage off was eye shots. 310 00:16:08,104.5 --> 00:16:09,214.5 I was like, man, this is cool. 311 00:16:09,994.5 --> 00:16:10,804.5 I like this build. 312 00:16:11,44.5 --> 00:16:19,474.5 I, I've kind of, I felt like I'd cracked the class maybe 'cause I had knowledge with interactions of, you know, how sorcerer has kind of worked. 313 00:16:19,474.5 --> 00:16:25,114.5 It, it gave me a bit of a level up when it came to D four, I played, you know, neck create everything. 314 00:16:26,134.5 --> 00:16:28,654.5 after the tour beta, the server slam. 315 00:16:29,524.5 --> 00:16:33,424.5 I actually sat there changing my mind on what class I was gonna play before day one. 316 00:16:33,424.5 --> 00:16:36,34.5 I was like, oh, do I get dru? It? I, I really love pulverize. 317 00:16:36,94.5 --> 00:16:38,44.5 Uh, I think pulverize is super cool. 318 00:16:38,44.5 --> 00:16:40,984.5 I was like, oh, it's just one build. 319 00:16:40,984.5 --> 00:16:44,524.5 Like, do I love the other builds as much? I was like, oh, Necro, like it fits my aesthetic. 320 00:16:44,524.5 --> 00:16:47,985 Like, I like the alternative Oh, the dark of course.

(16:48):
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that that's a perfect good fit for you.
Yeah. 325 00:16:52,189.5 --> 00:16:52,879.5 Blood and bone. 326 00:16:52,939.5 --> 00:16:55,339.5 I want blood and bone, but I, I don't like minions. 327 00:16:55,339.5 --> 00:16:58,849.5 I'm not a, a big fan of, you know, dominion build. 328 00:16:58,849.5 --> 00:16:59,389.5 I'm sorry. 329 00:16:59,479.5 --> 00:17:00,709.5 All you minion loves out there. 330 00:17:00,799.5 --> 00:17:04,800 Don't hate me, I love Minions. 331 00:17:05,29.5 --> 00:17:07,020 do you? So Apology accepted.
Yes.
I love Minion builds.

(17:08):
I play Minion builds every single season that I hop on.
The nema always in minion build. 336 00:17:11,734.5 --> 00:17:13,339.5 what do you love about mind? Builds.
I, so it started in Diablo two.
In Diablo two, you could resurrect monsters on top of summoning monsters, and you just had this army, you couldn't even barely see yourself.
And I just loved having this hoard of monsters following around you, fighting around you.

(17:29):
I just love that you feel like this, like emperor or like king with like this gigantic army that you get to command.
So I really love that feeling. 342 00:17:38,569.5 --> 00:17:39,79.5 Cool. 343 00:17:40,189.5 --> 00:17:46,69.5 See, for me, I don't mind the summoning, but when I'm eventually in the fight, I'm just sitting there, I feel like I'm not doing anything. 344 00:17:46,69.5 --> 00:17:47,899.5 I'm just like summon, summon, summon. 345 00:17:48,229.5 --> 00:17:48,995 Like Mm-hmm. 346 00:17:49,129.5 --> 00:17:50,449.5 press a button and do damage. 347 00:17:50,779.5 --> 00:17:52,459.5 And that's why I love like bone spear. 348 00:17:52,459.5 --> 00:17:55,519.5 I love, um, you know, corpse explosion. 349 00:17:55,579.5 --> 00:17:57,799.5 Um, I like that you can still spec in the damage over time. 350 00:17:57,799.5 --> 00:17:59,509.5 And I thought there's some really cool synergies. 351 00:18:00,259.5 --> 00:18:00,949.5 just was concerned. 352 00:18:00,949.5 --> 00:18:03,530.5 I'm like, oh, if there's ever like min meta, like I'm really not gonna. 353 00:18:04,19.5 --> 00:18:04,949.5 Enjoy that class. 354 00:18:04,949.5 --> 00:18:06,719.5 For myself, I wanna press button, do damage. 355 00:18:07,409.5 --> 00:18:09,055 And Oh yeah, that makes sense. 356 00:18:09,359.5 --> 00:18:18,495 when you have enough millions on your hot bar, like I'm, I'm limited to buttons I can press, which I'm, you know, maybe A-D-H-D-I like, I like to press a lot of buttons and that's why I Mm-hmm. 357 00:18:18,779.5 --> 00:18:21,179.5 half the time on saw pressing a million buttons at a time. 358 00:18:21,179.5 --> 00:18:21,419.5 So.

(18:23):
That's great.
Yeah, no, the Sorg always has had a ton of really, really spammy, but, uh, builds, which I really liked about it too. 361 00:18:30,859.5 --> 00:18:31,999.5 Yeah, it's a nice rotation. 362 00:18:31,999.5 --> 00:18:37,219.5 Like you're constantly, you have to a, a cool down, whether it's your conation to defensive skills to get your barrier. 363 00:18:37,219.5 --> 00:18:38,389.5 So, um, you, you can. 364 00:18:38,719.5 --> 00:18:40,159.5 It's high risk and high reward. 365 00:18:40,369.5 --> 00:18:44,59.5 Now you got a skill called glass cannon, right? The more damage you do, the more damage you take. 366 00:18:44,59.5 --> 00:18:45,319.5 Like I love that. 367 00:18:46,39.5 --> 00:18:48,409.5 And you don't need much life. 368 00:18:48,469.5 --> 00:18:50,269.5 Um, it, I love the way that intelligence works. 369 00:18:50,269.5 --> 00:18:54,949.5 Skill damage and resistance is just an easier class to get to your resistance cap, which feels good. 370 00:18:55,219.5 --> 00:18:59,020 I know barb's out there always struggling with your resistance, like, Yep. 371 00:18:59,479.5 --> 00:18:59,719.5 yep.

(19:00):
We get the, we get the armor, but the resistance is, yep.
That's, that's always a struggle. 374 00:19:05,869.5 --> 00:19:08,340 All my, Oh, that's, that played Barb, they're like, I. 375 00:19:08,659.5 --> 00:19:09,649.5 I'm struggling with resistance. 376 00:19:09,649.5 --> 00:19:12,589.5 And I look, I'm like, oh, yeah, I see why you got this. 377 00:19:12,739.5 --> 00:19:15,619.5 You know, you need to put fire resistance here and you gotta balance it all out. 378 00:19:15,619.5 --> 00:19:21,559.5 So depending on what gems, uh, ambulances and rings you get, you need to stack like maybe all fire res and those three. 379 00:19:21,559.5 --> 00:19:22,459.5 It's, it's crazy. 380 00:19:22,699.5 --> 00:19:24,195 I hate Yeah, it's a lot.

(19:24):
I know it.
You have, you have to like basically play Tetris with the resistances to get it all, all there.
But it, it does have its benefits and it does have its drawbacks each, each glass has its own just struggles and boons, I guess you would call 'em, boons and veins. 384 00:19:39,49.5 --> 00:19:40,459.5 Yeah, I mean four weapons. 385 00:19:40,459.5 --> 00:19:42,855 How cool is that though? I would I love it.

(19:44):
Oh yeah, it's amazing.
I am hoping that one day, those two, two handed weapons that we're carrying around all the time, I'm gonna be able to take one in each hand and then we can play two handed, two handed barbarian with one.
I'm hoping it comes back 'cause we, we were able to do in Diablo two.
Um, so I'm hoping. 390 00:20:06,79.5 --> 00:20:09,589.5 What about potentially a new Ultimate dual? Well, two weapons. 391 00:20:09,889.5 --> 00:20:12,240 Double the I'll put it on done.

(20:12):
It could be the worst thing in the world.
It could be the worst thing in the world.
I'm putting it on.
Uh, all right.
So the next question I got for you, uh, and this happens, you know, for a lot of people during the season, as the seasons kind of move on, some people tend to lose motivation.
.5When you get to the mid to late season grind, do you have any routines or goals that you set for yourself that kind of give you and keep you motivated to play? Yeah, absolutely. 398 00:20:38,479.5 --> 00:20:45,139.5 Um, you know as much as I do, but when you work, um, you don't get that burnout that a lot of other content creators do. 399 00:20:45,139.5 --> 00:20:50,389.5 Like if you are home all day, eight, 10 hours a day, you can understand that three, four weeks before PTR comes out, like. 400 00:20:50,824.5 --> 00:20:51,844.5 Your season is, is done. 401 00:20:51,844.5 --> 00:20:54,334.5 You've probably built all you want to do, you've done your main builds. 402 00:20:55,54.5 --> 00:21:02,674.5 Um, I start to test non meta things and other leveling experiences for the potential in the future of what else I could level with. 403 00:21:02,674.5 --> 00:21:07,714.5 If I got, um, some of those aspects that I, that I might be able to use. 404 00:21:07,984.5 --> 00:21:12,94.5 Also, I try to predict future b of, alright, this is really underperforming. 405 00:21:12,784.5 --> 00:21:14,464.5 Um, for example, maybe charge bolts. 406 00:21:14,554.5 --> 00:21:15,934.5 Charge bolts hasn't had much love. 407 00:21:17,329.5 --> 00:21:27,169.5 Will we get a charge bolts unique next season that might make it better? Or what about Blizzard? Like these are the two skills, um, that I would expect at the moment might get love into the new season. 408 00:21:27,169.5 --> 00:21:28,879.5 So what else can we test around it? So. 409 00:21:29,794.5 --> 00:21:37,474.5 I like to yeah, level with something that's completely non meta, just to see how it feels, the pain points, so I know exactly how to spec into it. 410 00:21:37,864.5 --> 00:21:40,954.5 Um, I, I've will often play hardcore for the last couple of weeks, just as the challenge. 411 00:21:40,954.5 --> 00:21:42,705 Just to go to the Oh, okay.

(21:42):
That's cool. 413 00:21:44,494.5 --> 00:21:52,204.5 um, a gauntlet se season, what was that season four? Um, I lost my favorite character. 414 00:21:52,204.5 --> 00:21:53,985 I got, um, Oh no. 415 00:21:54,724.5 --> 00:21:55,804.5 um, on hardcore, so. 416 00:21:56,524.5 --> 00:21:57,915 My first ever Wow. 417 00:21:57,934.5 --> 00:21:58,294.5 too.
Impressive.
Okay. 420 00:21:59,974.5 --> 00:22:04,984.5 and I died to a damn spider poison explosion when I was on like a top three run. 421 00:22:05,254.5 --> 00:22:11,764.5 Um, I, or I was two seconds away from the end, I teleported into a poison deck and I blew up and I was at the end of my stream. 422 00:22:11,944.5 --> 00:22:12,814.5 I nearly cried. 423 00:22:13,144.5 --> 00:22:14,14.5 I sat there. 424 00:22:14,179.5 --> 00:22:17,824.5 I, I think I've gotta short my YouTube, and I was like a stunned mullet. 425 00:22:17,824.5 --> 00:22:21,154.5 I was like, my headset off, took my glasses off, nearly cried. 426 00:22:21,154.5 --> 00:22:22,744.5 I'm like, that's it for stream guys. 427 00:22:24,109.5 --> 00:22:25,549.5 Walked out the place, went for a walk. 428 00:22:25,909.5 --> 00:22:26,779.5 I was so disappointed.

(22:26):
Ugh.
Brutal.
Brutal.
This is why I don't play hardcore.
I get just, I come back to my, my game constantly.
I'm dead all the time, so I would just, I would have character after character after character.
It's just, uh, I'm so distracted.
So I'm very impressed that you can admit taking a hardcore character that far.

(22:47):
That is pretty crazy.
And I do love playing off meta build.
That's one of my favorite things, and I'm hoping that eventually we can kind of make a shift to these off meta builds not being considered really bad builds because a lot of the times those builds are some of the most fun builds out there to play.
They'll clear all of torment for content.

(23:07):
Maybe they won't pit, like push, push your pit up to what pit 100 or something like that.
But taking those off meta bills and seeing how far you can go into the pit, I absolutely love that and it keeps it fun, refreshing.
So this idea of a good build being the top clearing build in the pit, I'm hoping that we can see some change in that. 444 00:23:31,959.5 --> 00:23:32,439.5 I agree. 445 00:23:32,769.5 --> 00:23:37,629.5 Uh, I think the problem is that you kind of have to start with something to level your cliffs. 446 00:23:37,869.5 --> 00:23:38,985 It's not fun Hmm. 447 00:23:39,129.5 --> 00:23:46,509.5 to sit there at the front of every dungeon 'cause you're running a knot meta build because you just can't get that last 20, 30 cliff levels because. 448 00:23:46,879.5 --> 00:23:48,949.5 Of the way that that works and that sucks. 449 00:23:48,949.5 --> 00:23:54,979.5 So it takes me back to what was season six with Spirit born like as a sorcerer, I just had to get spirit borns to level my glyphs.

(23:55):
Mm-hmm. 451 00:23:56,869.5 --> 00:23:58,339.5 Uh, it, it wasn't much fun. 452 00:23:58,669.5 --> 00:24:06,649.5 But as soon as I got to that curve, like my so was still doing ti four content, I was still able to go through, um, you know, everything that they had. 453 00:24:07,99.5 --> 00:24:08,899.5 I could speed run under cities, I could do everything. 454 00:24:08,929.5 --> 00:24:14,705 It just, when you played it against the spirit ball and it's just one tapped everything, there was such a big Yeah, I can.
Yeah, I can see that in all of season eight.

(24:18):
I actually never got a single glyph up to Level 100. 457 00:24:21,979.5 --> 00:24:23,509.5 What not one.
I not one.
I actually had cleared pit.
I was, I was in the maybe one tens, but I just never, I never did it.
I played.
So many different builds that season that I just kept on bouncing around from build to build to build, and I never really maxed out my glyphs and I pushed those builds as far as they would go, and I would get little bits of level up here and there, but I never really focused on it.

(24:48):
And I just played and I had a ton of fun doing it.
It was very interesting.
That was the first season that I've ever done anything like that.
I already have my glyphs level 100 in the current season right now on the barbarian, and I did it without the help of any other class.
So it's, it's super, it, it's just, it was just a season where I just completely shifted my focuses, tried something new, bounced around a little bit, and I had a lot of fun doing it. 468 00:25:13,249.5 --> 00:25:17,539.5 Yeah, it is fun, right? And not doing the same thing that everyone else is doing. 469 00:25:17,539.5 --> 00:25:21,349.5 It is fun for content creation, but it's also fun for yourself. 470 00:25:21,379.5 --> 00:25:22,210 The Yeah. 471 00:25:22,219.5 --> 00:25:29,689.5 I like is, this is probably the one season where I actually am running Meta, or maybe other Season four, like I didn't really run Lightning Spear for those few seasons. 472 00:25:29,929.5 --> 00:25:32,750.5 I either did Chain Lightning and Fireball and um, you know. 473 00:25:33,529.5 --> 00:25:38,119.5 couple other things with like Blizzard and Meteor just to, you know, not play the complete meta. 474 00:25:38,179.5 --> 00:25:41,899.5 I did lightning Spear I think for a couple of weeks just to set it up to see how it felt. 475 00:25:42,649.5 --> 00:25:49,519.5 Um, what I'm, I really love is, um, testing some of these bills to make them fun. 476 00:25:49,579.5 --> 00:25:51,469.5 'cause there are a lot of people out there that don't wanna play the matter. 477 00:25:51,859.5 --> 00:25:58,879.5 But Hydra, for example, this season, I love it because it, it's the most diverse build that sorcerer has ever had. 478 00:25:59,539.5 --> 00:26:10,985 are so many ways to play Hydra that can fit your preference and still gonna be viable because you get like a a thousand percent scaling because of your manner and you know, per head of Right. 479 00:26:11,299.5 --> 00:26:12,066 So it Uh huh. 480 00:26:12,229.5 --> 00:26:22,129.5 you this flexibility that, all right, you can cast Hydra and like every five seconds you can kind of put a hydra down that's gonna do big damage, but you're kind of left in this spot with your appendage in your hands. 481 00:26:22,129.5 --> 00:26:23,89.5 I just try not to swear. 482 00:26:23,419.5 --> 00:26:25,969.5 Um, but you can't do anything for five seconds. 483 00:26:26,89.5 --> 00:26:28,519.5 So you're like, okay, what do I do now? Because this is like hydro. 484 00:26:29,944.5 --> 00:26:33,94.5 Hydro or you can spam it, but it's not increasing your damage that much. 485 00:26:33,844.5 --> 00:26:41,134.5 you are either like, alright, what core skill can I put in? What mastery skill can I put in, can I put a basic skill in? And it gives you all these flexibilities to change and chop. 486 00:26:41,164.5 --> 00:26:47,404.5 And then you're just like, all right, do I wanna run defensive skills? Or, my preference is I like flame silk, for example. 487 00:26:47,404.5 --> 00:26:51,574.5 I, I, I like that, press that button for like, oh, snap, I'm gonna die, or I'm crowd controlled. 488 00:26:51,979.5 --> 00:26:57,709.5 Feels good you wanna play high risk, high reward, more conservations, more damage, more primorial binding stacks. 489 00:26:57,709.5 --> 00:27:14,825 So got this really fun way that you see everyone's hydro has a very slightly different setup and for about one build in ages, we've got five enchantments that are actually viable, just two for like every build and everything else is just as compared Yeah, that's, that's awesome. 490 00:27:15,259.5 --> 00:27:18,709.5 It, it is really nice the diversity and how hydro plays. 491 00:27:19,429.5 --> 00:27:22,609.5 And I went up with the burning hydro damage over time. 492 00:27:22,999.5 --> 00:27:26,569.5 Um, immortalized by the way, has been like running hydro for like the last five seasons. 493 00:27:26,569.5 --> 00:27:28,470 He has pushed I know, I know. 494 00:27:28,519.5 --> 00:27:28,939.5 the brink. 495 00:27:28,939.5 --> 00:27:32,299.5 He's like the OG original Hydra guy. 496 00:27:32,719.5 --> 00:27:38,749.5 Um, we played it, had a chat before the season, um, talked a little bit of Strat and um, I was like, yeah, cool. 497 00:27:38,749.5 --> 00:27:40,399.5 I'm gonna make a variation on his build. 498 00:27:40,399.5 --> 00:27:44,29.5 Like that fits my preference and I'm gonna level on site and go with that to the end game. 499 00:27:45,169.5 --> 00:27:48,529.5 you know, the crit hydra comes out, destroys end game content. 500 00:27:48,529.5 --> 00:27:50,119.5 It's really fast, by the way I've set it up. 501 00:27:50,269.5 --> 00:27:52,69.5 It's, it's the instant damage is huge. 502 00:27:52,279.5 --> 00:27:59,299.5 But now what we see, like as with this point into the season is that the burning hydra does scale damage than it's got the highest pit clear. 503 00:27:59,419.5 --> 00:28:00,619.5 I knew it would the whole time. 504 00:28:01,519.5 --> 00:28:11,700 it's just, I love that two builds of the same, that use similar gear and you can kind of spec both because we have the armory, like how good is the Armory? You must love it with all your Oh yeah.

(28:12):
Oh yeah.
Done.
Yeah, I love it.
I've already filled an entire armory and I'm probably gonna have to make another barbarian to fill another one.
So. 510 00:28:19,534.5 --> 00:28:20,554.5 Yeah, I, I'm the same. 511 00:28:20,884.5 --> 00:28:22,174.5 I can't believe I filled out my armory. 512 00:28:22,174.5 --> 00:28:26,374.5 Normally I get like four full build, but because of Hydra, I actually need four variants of Hydra. 513 00:28:27,34.5 --> 00:28:28,624.5 So Armory's done with one build.
Amazing.
Yeah.
That is awesome.
So I'd like to do something a little new with this podcast.

(28:35):
We're on a branch out from dial four, just a little bit.
Give people a chance to get to know the outside of Diablo, Raven.
So give me three fun facts about yourself that post people would not know. 521 00:28:47,809.5 --> 00:28:55,879.5 Oh, I'm probably gotta do something that I don't normally talk about, even to my own community and things that maybe my own community don't know. 522 00:28:56,779.5 --> 00:28:58,745 Um, in That's fun. 523 00:28:59,239.5 --> 00:29:01,825 um, as a teenager, I was actually Okay. 524 00:29:02,29.5 --> 00:29:03,259.5 reserves basketball player. 525 00:29:03,439.5 --> 00:29:04,129.5 I'm six foot three. 526 00:29:04,129.5 --> 00:29:04,969.5 I'm actually kind of huge. 527 00:29:04,969.5 --> 00:29:05,419.5 I've got long. 528 00:29:06,199.5 --> 00:29:13,590 I've got legs for days, but um, in Australia, um, state basketball would be like what you call college basketball Oh, nice.

(29:13):
Okay. 530 00:29:13,939.5 --> 00:29:15,090 before you're trying to Wow. 531 00:29:15,169.5 --> 00:29:15,589.5 the highest. 532 00:29:15,589.5 --> 00:29:17,520 If, I mean, NBA is still a Impressive. 533 00:29:17,749.5 --> 00:29:25,410 NBL, um, yeah, I was a free throw shooter, so I had a season where I shot 97 from 101 free throws, like almost didn't Cool. 534 00:29:26,344.5 --> 00:29:26,564.5 but.
Geez. 536 00:29:27,949.5 --> 00:29:29,989.5 I've been nerved my whole sporting career. 537 00:29:30,49.5 --> 00:29:32,299.5 I guess maybe that's where I get some of my competitive side from. 538 00:29:32,299.5 --> 00:29:37,309.5 But, um, I am born on New Year's Eve, so the 31st of December. 539 00:29:38,149.5 --> 00:29:40,429.5 So I popped out and said Happy New Year to my mom. 540 00:29:41,119.5 --> 00:29:41,950 didn't have the Okay. 541 00:29:42,79.5 --> 00:29:43,334.5 that year, I think, but uh. 542 00:29:45,559.5 --> 00:29:48,859.5 That meant like you played under sixteens, under fourteens, under twelves. 543 00:29:48,889.5 --> 00:29:51,559.5 It meant I was always playing with bigger boys, like two years older. 544 00:29:51,559.5 --> 00:29:58,575 So the difference between being, you know, what was it, 13 and playing a 15-year-old is very tough, but the body size Oh yeah, a hundred percent. 545 00:29:58,759.5 --> 00:29:59,265 So Yeah. 546 00:29:59,419.5 --> 00:30:06,19.5 tall and and stronger probably for my age compared to the rest, I wasn't playing all my people in the same creative high school as me. 547 00:30:06,19.5 --> 00:30:08,175 I was always playing Right. 548 00:30:08,809.5 --> 00:30:11,985 And yeah, Yeah, that makes a big difference. 549 00:30:12,4.5 --> 00:30:12,754.5 Strategize. 550 00:30:12,814.5 --> 00:30:13,594.5 It was like, same as talk. 551 00:30:13,594.5 --> 00:30:17,535 I'm like, okay, how can we strategize? I was like, oh, well I'm just gonna get good at Yeah. 552 00:30:17,764.5 --> 00:30:18,904.5 nobody else wants to get good at. 553 00:30:18,904.5 --> 00:30:20,584.5 Everyone wants to be the three point shooter. 554 00:30:20,884.5 --> 00:30:28,924.5 Um, you go to training, everyone's like 20 people are all sitting out there just wanting to hit three pointers was like, I'm like, I'm just gonna go to a three throw line and just nail 10 outta 10. 555 00:30:29,44.5 --> 00:30:29,824.5 10 outta 10. 556 00:30:30,4.5 --> 00:30:30,694.5 10 outta 10. 557 00:30:31,129.5 --> 00:30:34,729.5 All day, every day, and the coach eventually noticed it. 558 00:30:34,759.5 --> 00:30:48,255 I got to train with the state team and yeah, I got called out to state and as the free throw shooter, which also is the most stressful role ever because I only played for like a minute and 20 seconds At state level where Oh wow.

(30:48):
Okay. 560 00:30:49,129.5 --> 00:30:54,379.5 I get called out, run a play where I have to catch the ball and get fouled and shoot two points to win the match. 561 00:30:55,759.5 --> 00:30:55,909.5 like.
That's incredibly scary.
Yeah, that's a lot of pressure. 564 00:30:59,209.5 --> 00:30:59,509.5 Yeah. 565 00:30:59,509.5 --> 00:31:01,515 So, um, I, I was Wow. 566 00:31:02,869.5 --> 00:31:03,529.5 it's too much adrenal. 567 00:31:03,529.5 --> 00:31:05,175 I don't, Oh yeah.
.5Oh yeah, but I don't wanna do that every day. 569 00:31:07,39.5 --> 00:31:07,999.5 That's, that's too much.

(31:09):
I can.
I can imagine.
That is awesome. 573 00:31:11,614.5 --> 00:31:11,944.5 Yeah.
Wow.
That. 576 00:31:14,704.5 --> 00:31:23,404.5 what else do I have? Um, well, I, I said before, um, I, I, I work, I'm actually a operations manager, um, for a digital marketing agency. 577 00:31:23,404.5 --> 00:31:38,329.5 So we do website creation, uh, we do website, SEO, uh, Google Ads Matter ads, and so I'm at a new job and I'm, uh, there to implement a lot of systematic changes and work with the team to help, uh, growth into the future. 578 00:31:38,329.5 --> 00:31:39,379.5 And I, I really love my job. 579 00:31:39,379.5 --> 00:31:43,279.5 I love what I do, and I think it kind of translates well, um, into streaming. 580 00:31:43,699.5 --> 00:31:49,759.5 So if, if anyone's out there that does have some career ambitions or doesn't know what they wanna do in life, I give digital marketing a go. 581 00:31:49,819.5 --> 00:31:50,599.5 I'll look into it. 582 00:31:50,899.5 --> 00:31:52,69.5 Uh, one, it's entertaining. 583 00:31:52,129.5 --> 00:31:53,509.5 It keeps your brain occupied. 584 00:31:53,509.5 --> 00:31:56,364.5 There are so many strategies and details that you can work on and. 585 00:31:57,54.5 --> 00:31:58,584.5 Uh, it's, you're forever learning. 586 00:31:58,584.5 --> 00:32:04,134.5 Same as like Diablo with updates and seasons, and I, I think that keeps me interested for a long period of time.

(32:05):
That is really cool. 588 00:32:06,849.5 --> 00:32:06,969.5 I.
It's, it's exactly what you want out of a job.
Something's gonna keep you challenged and keep you thinking.
The moment that you stop doing that, it just kind of becomes that grind and it's just kind of over it and ready for something new.
So that's cool. 593 00:32:20,464.5 --> 00:32:22,954.5 Yeah, another day, another dawn the same thing as yesterday. 594 00:32:22,954.5 --> 00:32:31,24.5 So yeah, I've got, I've got like, I've reckoned about a year, year and a half worth of projects I'm already starting to work on and so much to do. 595 00:32:31,414.5 --> 00:32:32,539.5 Um, yeah, excited.

(32:33):
That is, that is cool.
So the raven outside of Diablo four.
So with the expansion pack looming and talks of a brand new character, when the expansion pack launches sometime in 2026, will you be sticking with the sort when the expansion comes out, or are you gonna pick up that brand new class? At least for the launch. 599 00:32:55,999.5 --> 00:32:56,929.5 Um. 600 00:32:57,664.5 --> 00:33:00,64.5 I'm gonna stick with, so, oh, I don't know. 601 00:33:00,64.5 --> 00:33:17,614.5 It depends, right? So this is, this is, this is where I get that little contemplation of, you know, new class, new opportunity, potentially trying to find something, some interaction that I can make a build off that I expect that we see Paladin, right? Paladins just been a fan favorite for so long. 602 00:33:17,614.5 --> 00:33:20,854.5 Like, if I had to guess, I would guess that they're gonna see a Paladin. 603 00:33:20,944.5 --> 00:33:21,784.5 Like nobody knows. 604 00:33:21,784.5 --> 00:33:22,834.5 We know nothing about it. 605 00:33:23,254.5 --> 00:33:25,144.5 Um, partners don't squat. 606 00:33:25,414.5 --> 00:33:26,239.5 Um, I would love to. 607 00:33:27,259.5 --> 00:33:28,429.5 To see what we get. 608 00:33:28,549.5 --> 00:33:29,989.5 They did a new class already. 609 00:33:30,79.5 --> 00:33:31,189.5 Uh, I would expect Paladin. 610 00:33:32,59.5 --> 00:33:37,335 Um, I would probably even jump into a little bit of D three and play a bit of Paladin getting closer to launch Nice.

(33:37):
Okay. 612 00:33:38,359.5 --> 00:33:41,179.5 understand the who damage, how some of those interactions work a bit more. 613 00:33:41,629.5 --> 00:33:43,155 Um, Little refresher. 614 00:33:43,909.5 --> 00:33:46,440 it's interesting, like I've been two minds when it comes to it, right? I. 615 00:33:46,999.5 --> 00:33:53,659.5 90% of the community will be playing the new class, which means 90% of content creators are gonna be putting out information on that new class. 616 00:33:54,394.5 --> 00:34:06,634.5 Uh, so most content is saturated if I put out some content for SOC and come up with something fun, interesting, and really good, then maybe there's more of a, a target audience for the content that I'm putting out. 617 00:34:06,634.5 --> 00:34:14,314.5 So I probably will stick with SOC just because I feel like the market will be oversaturated and then I'll probably play the new class second, but. 618 00:34:16,159.5 --> 00:34:21,439.5 But I got, I, I got access to the early review build for the vessel of hatred. 619 00:34:21,439.5 --> 00:34:30,139.5 So I was, um, home and playing, uh, vessel of hatred for 11 days, playing spirit born, working on everything before the game came out. 620 00:34:30,139.5 --> 00:34:36,300 So I kind of lucky and that honestly thrilled to have that opportunity to, to That is amazing. 621 00:34:36,709.5 --> 00:34:37,249.5 beforehand. 622 00:34:37,249.5 --> 00:34:37,519.5 So.

(34:40):
So fingers crossed you get to do that Again. 624 00:34:42,199.5 --> 00:34:46,39.5 Fingers I don't even know if they're gonna do anything like that this time or not, but I dunno.
it sounds amazing. 626 00:34:47,719.5 --> 00:34:48,379.5 It, it was cool. 627 00:34:48,379.5 --> 00:34:59,119.5 But I, I actually feel for some of the rest of the community, 'cause it does give us an advantage going into, you know, if there's a race, it gives us an advantage if there was, um, you know, for content creation, it gives us an advantage. 628 00:34:59,854.5 --> 00:35:06,364.5 Um, there are a lot of people out there that are maybe are smaller content creators that aren't part of the partner program and it feels like they kind of get a little nerve to it. 629 00:35:06,364.5 --> 00:35:12,754.5 So it is like, hey, it's a massive win for me and it's really a cool experience, but I guess it can be down heartening for other people. 630 00:35:12,874.5 --> 00:35:15,765 So, Yeah, I can, I really, I can understand that.

(35:15):
Yeah. 632 00:35:16,234.5 --> 00:35:17,235 and But when I. 633 00:35:17,494.5 --> 00:35:17,974.5 to everything.
Yeah, I didn't get to do any of that stuff.
I don't think I was even in, in the partner program when this came out.
Uh, I joined after, but I was just super stoked that people got to go do it even though I didn't get to make any content and I was behind what I think is kind of cool.
And the reason that even if the market is over satu.

(35:39):
If you have a great community and a base behind you, people wanna hear your opinions and your ideas on a class.
So people are, no matter what, are gonna look to your ideas and your build.
So if you have a really good following that are all like really hyped about this brand new class, I really think that it's, your opinion is going to matter more so than somebody else that has created all these build and they're gonna watch your content no matter what.

(36:04):
And I think that.
Even if someone else has an advantage, because no matter what, there are much, much, much bigger content creators out there that make content that most people go and watch.
But I still am gonna make content because there are people that do care about the opinions that I have and the builds that I put out.
So those people that have those bigger followings could be considered at an advantage.

(36:28):
But it's, it's really relative to kind of where you're at.
And, and I, I do like the idea of that.
We got something brand new.
It's new and shiny.
People wanna know what Raven Ritual has to say about this brand new super cool class.
So it would be really fun to see your opinions and your bills and your variations on it.

(36:49):
So just my thoughts. 652 00:36:51,244.5 --> 00:36:51,874.5 Very true. 653 00:36:51,889.5 --> 00:36:54,754.5 I, I think as well, like you don't get that day one experience. 654 00:36:54,754.5 --> 00:36:57,934.5 Like when I was at home or I couldn't record, I wasn't like. 655 00:36:58,564.5 --> 00:36:59,704.5 Putting out any content for it. 656 00:37:00,304.5 --> 00:37:08,284.5 I haven't been so happy in like almost all of the upload for playing the vessel of hatred playing a campaign in the story because I, I love the law. 657 00:37:09,124.5 --> 00:37:13,174.5 there just like, almost just talking to myself like, oh my God, this is so good. 658 00:37:13,474.5 --> 00:37:13,954.5 Yes. 659 00:37:13,954.5 --> 00:37:16,474.5 Oh, what'd this skill do? And like, testing the Eagle builds. 660 00:37:16,474.5 --> 00:37:18,604.5 I was just, I was in every skill. 661 00:37:18,664.5 --> 00:37:24,814.5 What does this do? What does this do? How does this work? What can I use? I, I was just in, you know, it probably would've been made good content. 662 00:37:24,814.5 --> 00:37:25,414.5 Yeah, absolutely. 663 00:37:25,414.5 --> 00:37:25,564.5 Right.

(37:26):
Exactly, and that's the thing is there are a lot of people that, and this was my argument last time, there are a lot of people that said, oh, everybody's gonna be playing it.
I don't wanna play it.
You never will ever get this experience ever again.
It will never be the launch of whatever class they're gonna be launching ever again.
You have one opportunity to be there when that class comes out.

(37:48):
Like the spirit born did, can incredibly overpowered, 100% broken, but you still get to be there and experience that and feel it with the rest of the community.
I thought it was super fun when I got to do it. 671 00:38:00,944.5 --> 00:38:01,234.5 Yeah.
So I, I think it's gonna be a very fun transition to see what we go into.

(38:08):
But to piggyback on these ideas, are you secretly hoping for any particular class style, let's say like a tanky brawler or maybe something that's super fast and agile, something like that? I. 674 00:38:19,219.5 --> 00:38:33,49.5 Oh, I, I, I guess I'm for another damage type, whether it's a wholly damage, like an arcane damage or um, you know, something else that's gonna have an extra integration potentially. 675 00:38:33,49.5 --> 00:38:37,800 What does that make another resistance for us in the future? Uh, Oh yeah. 676 00:38:37,994.5 --> 00:38:50,924.5 Depending on where we go with, um, our abilities and our skills and, and, and what that looks like, how is that gonna evolve and how is it gonna change? Like, I, I'm very excited for the future of D Uplift four. 677 00:38:50,924.5 --> 00:38:54,644.5 Um, you know, a lot of people know I've been, uh, banging on about that this week. 678 00:38:55,34.5 --> 00:39:07,174.5 Uh, there's not too much I, I want to say further for, for NDA, um, as you, as you may know, Yeah, some of our, our Diablo partners were lucky enough to have a presentation from Blizzard, um, last week. 679 00:39:07,444.5 --> 00:39:19,834.5 Um, and I really hope we get that transparency for the, for the rest of the D four community because this is the best presentation I've seen better than any campfire chat, better than, um, anyone of their season launches. 680 00:39:19,864.5 --> 00:39:27,724.5 Um, what they went through, the details, the pain points they're looking at fixing, not just saying, Hey, we're gonna fix that, but giving a solution, this is the outcome of what that's going to be. 681 00:39:27,724.5 --> 00:39:28,54.5 Um. 682 00:39:29,509.5 --> 00:39:37,309.5 So I guess I'm so excited for what we're gonna get and I just wanna instill that hope and, and that, love that. 683 00:39:37,309.5 --> 00:39:39,979.5 I know there's some, some problems that we've had that for a long time. 684 00:39:39,979.5 --> 00:39:43,759.5 There's a master working, um, you know, it's fishing for bosses and pits. 685 00:39:43,759.5 --> 00:39:47,449.5 It's a, um, you know, the same problem over and over again. 686 00:39:47,479.5 --> 00:39:50,299.5 The end game, I see it on comments on every YouTube video. 687 00:39:50,329.5 --> 00:39:51,589.5 Make more end game blizzard. 688 00:39:51,679.5 --> 00:39:52,39.5 Um. 689 00:39:53,839.5 --> 00:40:03,844.5 I am looking forward to solutions, and I guess that's why I'm gonna keep playing DT four and why I started playing DT four is I know this game will be around in 10 years time, and I hope this will be there with all of you.

(40:05):
That is awesome.
Great answer.
So I know my thoughts on this, what I want to hear yours.
.5What is your perspective on the current state of the community, both in game and on platforms like Discord? If you have a Discord server on Twitch, YouTube for the Diablo four community, I love it. 694 00:40:28,664.5 --> 00:40:35,980 Like as you know, like this is the most wholesome community and why I love D four and PGS as a whole, like I came I. 695 00:40:36,44.5 --> 00:40:46,94.5 PVP games and you watch all the drama backlash on so many YouTube channels of like, streamers gone, this person did this, blah, blah, blah, and just like this hate and this backfire. 696 00:40:46,124.5 --> 00:40:49,934.5 And it's like, I'm not sure if they do that just for views to, to create drama for or. 697 00:40:50,194.5 --> 00:40:56,44.5 I, wouldn't like living in a world where, you know, if you're just, you're constantly arguing and hating on people. 698 00:40:56,44.5 --> 00:40:59,974.5 Like I, I, I care about the community, I care about people, and I know you do too. 699 00:41:00,214.5 --> 00:41:01,984.5 Clippers, you're such a wholesome person. 700 00:41:01,984.5 --> 00:41:05,790 That's why you do so well, and I'm so proud for you Oh, thank you. 701 00:41:06,154.5 --> 00:41:12,724.5 that's how it should be, right? Like, I wanted to see you grow, get mobility partner, get a Diablo partner, do what you do for the community and help people. 702 00:41:12,724.5 --> 00:41:14,584.5 Um, it's. 703 00:41:15,304.5 --> 00:41:16,174.5 community of helping. 704 00:41:16,174.5 --> 00:41:22,354.5 And that's why I'm part of Team Main staff where we believe in, know, people first and you know, community over everything. 705 00:41:22,354.5 --> 00:41:25,384.5 And that's part of our, our motto and, and who I'm as an individual. 706 00:41:26,134.5 --> 00:41:31,474.5 So I think what we need is to continue this. 707 00:41:31,474.5 --> 00:41:33,304.5 Like it's, we're not fighting each other. 708 00:41:34,174.5 --> 00:41:35,44.5 all on the same goal. 709 00:41:35,44.5 --> 00:41:37,54.5 We all want to go to get to pit 100. 710 00:41:37,54.5 --> 00:41:37,924.5 We all wanna level. 711 00:41:37,924.5 --> 00:41:39,809.5 And as soon as I've got stuff that I need for my character. 712 00:41:40,639.5 --> 00:41:41,89.5 everyone does. 713 00:41:41,89.5 --> 00:41:42,529.5 Like, oh, this is a really good item. 714 00:41:42,529.5 --> 00:41:44,149.5 I'm gonna save that for someone else that needs help. 715 00:41:44,569.5 --> 00:41:46,579.5 Oh, let's help level you up. 716 00:41:46,579.5 --> 00:41:47,959.5 Let's, let's work together. 717 00:41:47,959.5 --> 00:41:49,824.5 And it is super wholesome, like.

(41:51):
I couldn't agree more.
The amount of support that you see in this game.
Yeah, of course.
There's always gonna be some couple negative people, but the amount of support and positivity far outweighs.
The negativity that I've, that I've seen, and it is, it is really an amazing experience.
It's completely changed around the way that I look at the game and the way that I played the game.

(42:12):
It is really been what has kept me going and what keeps me going.
Just having all the amazing support.
So for everybody out there that is watching that gets to see this, make sure that you tell everybody else that you know that we appreciate you very much.
.5And for my final question, for all of the baby Sos that are out there that are hoping to hop on and grind, what are three tips coming from the SOK expert, Raven Ritual, for anybody that's gonna be starting on a SOAR today? Oh, before I answer that question, um, I wanna kind of ask one that's kind of priced that, 'cause I, I've had a few people that have just downloaded Diablo for the first time. 728 00:42:51,919.5 --> 00:42:52,284.5 They go, oh. 729 00:42:52,939.5 --> 00:42:55,699.5 What should I do first? My first time playing Diablo. 730 00:42:55,849.5 --> 00:42:59,209.5 Um, and the first thing I say is play the campaign.

(43:00):
Oh yes, and always. 732 00:43:02,509.5 --> 00:43:05,869.5 It is just that one experience and you never get that back again. 733 00:43:06,349.5 --> 00:43:06,949.5 Like that. 734 00:43:07,609.5 --> 00:43:12,649.5 Playing through the campaign, you know, the cut scenes are amazing, um, for anyone that's playing. 735 00:43:12,649.5 --> 00:43:20,689.5 So for the first time, um, I know a lot of people will, will follow guides and, and I love that, but I, I think the best thing you can do is don't just power the level if it's your first. 736 00:43:20,689.5 --> 00:43:20,690.5 So. 737 00:43:21,484.5 --> 00:43:22,474.5 just power level to 60. 738 00:43:23,134.5 --> 00:43:25,564.5 Play the class, like test everything. 739 00:43:25,804.5 --> 00:43:26,854.5 Put five in a spark. 740 00:43:26,884.5 --> 00:43:27,364.5 Test spark. 741 00:43:27,364.5 --> 00:43:30,664.5 What does this do? How does this feel? Because you never know when spark's gonna get a b next season. 742 00:43:30,844.5 --> 00:43:35,344.5 As long as you kind of know how the the interaction works, the lucky hit chances kind of ask. 743 00:43:35,344.5 --> 00:43:38,644.5 And you know how often it changed? What does it do? Okay, I know that movement. 744 00:43:38,884.5 --> 00:43:44,584.5 All right, what does Five Ball do? What does this do? What does, um, is art flash better? Um, so for a basic skill. 745 00:43:44,584.5 --> 00:43:49,264.5 So learn those abilities and find something that you like, you can build. 746 00:43:49,384.5 --> 00:43:51,364.5 Alright, hydro, because it's the strongest field. 747 00:43:51,454.5 --> 00:43:51,814.5 Cool. 748 00:43:52,164.5 --> 00:43:55,979.5 But you might just find, oh, you know, chain Lightning feels really nice to play because. 749 00:43:57,364.5 --> 00:44:00,574.5 It, it doesn't have that clunky, like hard hitting animation to it. 750 00:44:00,574.5 --> 00:44:04,984.5 It's just really smooth like gameplay, like you kind of chain hold, you rotate a couple barriers. 751 00:44:05,344.5 --> 00:44:06,154.5 Oh wow. 752 00:44:06,154.5 --> 00:44:08,404.5 After 10 hours of gaming, my fingers don't hurt as much. 753 00:44:08,494.5 --> 00:44:09,664.5 That's always nice.

(44:10):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
