EPISODE NOTE: The day this episode launched I learned of the tragic passing of my guest for the show, Mr. Christopher O’Brien. He passed away on November 24th, 2024 (approximately 17 days after this interview was recorded, on September 7th).
He reportedly crashed his vehicle into a stone sign in Sedona, AZ, while driving himself to the hospital due to a medical emergency after leaving the home of his friend and collaborator, Ron James, where he was staying (Mr. James, filmmaker, producer, and director, was out of town at the time).
I want to express my deepest condolences to his loved ones and many fans. And I want to share that at all times my interactions with him were truly wonderful. What a unique, intriguing, intelligent, and kind man he was.
I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to visit with him about topics so near and dear to his heart, and help him in his efforts to share them with the world.
You will be missed, Mr. O’Brien. RIP
