Note from Rev Deb
As a Christian minister, Rev Deb began her own journey as an I Ching consultant. The study and practice of this was akin to divination and little did she realise as it never gave her real Peace or Hope, that this is not what we should be doing in our world. Rev Deb only to realised this following the death of her husband that the only way to find peace and hope is through Jesus Christ. In her book "In Search of My Father's Love" https://amzn.eu/d/1Z5qElq Rev Deb reveals how God spoke to her and revealed his love to her when she was in the deepest part of grief.
Understanding that we are all on a spiritual journey allows us to come to a point where we realise that the only way to eternal life is through the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ, one Man died, and rose again, came back to life, exchanging His life for ours, so that we might live into eternity with Him forever.
While it is good to hear others stories on how they are moving forwards, as a Christian I do not advocate any methods of divination or seeking guidance for your future except through prayer and studying the bible which is God's word.
In this conversation, Rev Deb and Caroline Carey explore the multifaceted nature of grief and trauma, emphasizing the importance of creativity and self-acceptance in the healing process. Caroline shares her personal experiences with grief stemming from childhood trauma, the loss of innocence, and the challenges of early motherhood. They discuss how embracing creativity can help individuals express their emotions and navigate their identities through grief. The conversation also touches on the significance of connection during the dying process and offers practical advice for managing grief and trauma.
