SEEDS is a podcast about a set of somatic touch principles that we call Somatic Mindfulness and how it is changing the practices and lives of LMTs and practitioners. Each episode is a brief conversation with someone who has adopted these principles sharing how it’s affecting their work and their views about massage and life.
Meet Becca Sanker, a massage therapist who transitioned from the world of mental heath therapy to the body therapies and, more recently, the Somatic Mindfulness approach. Her work with the mental health and drug-rehab communities has been a rewarding outlet for the way she has been able to integrate her skillsets.
