„Zuby, pohroma huby,“ říkal legendární Jára Cimrman. Podcast o zubech a zubařích, ale také síle, bezzubosti, agresi a empatii v době, kdy se zakusujeme spíš do sebe než do problémů.
Tento díl podcastu Neverím je zpočátku hravý a lehce absurdní. Začíná u zubů. Ale svižně se z něj stává metaforická a společenská úvaha o síle, bezzubosti, respektu a agresivitě v osobním i veřejném životě. Nakonec se dostává i k radikalizaci společnosti, volbám, politickým zubům i lidskosti například vůči Ukrajincům.
Znamená bezzubost slabost? Může méně kousat znamenat víc rozumět? Martina a Jan přemýšlejí i nad biblickými významy zubů, symbolizujícími zdraví, ale i nad „skřípáním zubů“ jako metaforou zoufalství, pekla.
A nakonec k zubům opět zcela neobrazně. Anebo? V Janově vesnici odešla místní zubařka do důchodu a náhrada se našla tam, kde by ji málokdo čekal, totiž v podobě ukrajinských manželů, kteří našli nový domov právě díky otevřenosti komunity. „Ukrajinci, kterým jsme pomohli jako uprchlíkům, nám už dávno pomáhají víc, než kdy jsme my pomohli jim,“ dodává Jan.
