Amit Goswami is a retired theoretical quantum physicist who "broke the mold" of physicists back in 1993 by realizing that quantum discoveries actually require the existence of fundamental consciousness (i.e., outside of space and time) to explain how quantum waves collapse into particles. He published his understanding in The Self-Aware Universe: How Consciousness Creates the Material World, a book that had a profound influence on me at the time. In this episode, Amit and I had a fascinating conversation about the role of consciousness and how shifting our level of consciousness can allow humans to change our relationships with the world - for the better and the good of all. Amit founded the Center for Quantum Activism in 2018 and has written 12 books since then to promote the goal of producing "quantum leaders" based on understanding quantum science and the primacy of consciousness and what that explains about the universe.
