My guest in this episode is Adam Howland, author of the book "The UnTruth of Kindness". We talked about experiences and perspectives in our own lives and how those have changed our understanding of ourselves and the universe that we are part of. Adam came to believe that light and love are the energies that interconnect life and all things. For him, learning a mindfulness practice led to breakthroughs and awakenings. And he shared his struggles to get family members and others to open and up and have conversations about spirituality. But we agreed that it is useful and important if we can get others to open up and have mutual explorations of life and ideas and that can begin by simply being curious and asking questions without being threatening or defensive.
