Ora Nadrich is a well-known mindfulness teacher and author of Says Who?, Live True, and Time to Awaken, and she is my guest in this episode to talk about how we can change the world by raising our consciousness. She defines mindfulness as present moment awareness - that is, being aware in the present. You can be aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensory information about the world. When you are giving your full attention to what someone else is saying to you, that is true mindfulness. But people often "half listen" to what someone is saying and give the other half of their attention to thinking about what they want to say next or other things. Being fully aware is a very powerful way of becoming more conscious. She also said that people often give their attention to negative and fear-based thoughts and don't question those thoughts, and that is disempowering or even self-destructive. This episode is full of her wisdom on mindfulness and making a difference in the world. DON'T MISS IT! Learn more about Ora at OraNadrich.com.
