About my guest: Wade Costly:

Wade Costley is the Website Information Officer for My CP Guide and serves as a Lived Experience Member on the interim board at Cerebral Palsy Australia. He also serves as a member of the Australian & New Zealand Cerebral Palsy Strategy Collaboration Group.

Prior to this, Wade enjoyed a 30-year international career as a systems architect implementing large solutions for telecommunications clients worldwide.

Working in 13 countries across 4 different continents provided Wade a unique perspective as a person with cerebral palsy experiencing first-hand how various cultures and societies view and treat people with a disability. Wade has a keen interest in the research of premature ageing with cerebral palsy and is passionate about increasing the opportunities for gainful employment for people with a disability. In addition, he is eager to raise awareness and understanding of cerebral palsy, particularly in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.

Wade still enjoys travelling around the world (now for pleasure) and often discusses with tourism businesses how to make their services and offerings more accessible for people with a disability.

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
