In this pilot episode of Patterns of Behavior, we explore learning through a different lens—how modern education has shifted from deep, functional understanding toward memorization and information overload, my teacher often described it as “drinking from the fire hose.” The episode begins with a simple breathing exercise to invite a more intentional way of engaging with the conversation, rather than consuming it as background noise.
In this pilot episode, my goal is to introduce everyone a little bit of what is to be expected throughout this project. There are some topics that will be talked about through this podcast that could be triggering, confrontational, or frankly you may not like them, but I will do my best to give that "warning."
Books MentionedThe Farther Reaches of Human Nature — Abraham Maslow
