So Much Swearing These Days - Should we use Better Speech

Let's face it, the days of getting your mouth washed out with soap for saying a bad word is over, today, bad language is bad a**. Is there any issue with speaking poorly? When you use bad language, are you putting up a shield to protect you from a solid argument? Do people bully with language? Chris Rock was not only hit by Will Smith but also assaulted with "Keep my wife out your ****** mouth!!!!". This was on a show that has a reputation for being as popular as the Superbowl and having a standard of elegance, professionalism, and respect in the entertainment industry. The fact is Hollywood is struggling to come back from digital media like Netflix and Amazon Prime plus the recent Covid crisis. Now Hollywood loses more of its shine when the Best Actor has to give his acceptance speech while crying with regret for assaulting a comic who said a joke about his wife.
