My friend Kathryn told me not to put this one up, because it made me seem like I was too satisfied with my art, whereas in fact I am very critical and I never stop trying to make it better. I have decided to put this episode up because the play never did get produced, this tiny reading was the only really success that the play had, and so it makes sense in retrospect to have been so happy and gratified by it, since an audience of about six or seven (which is what we had) was about as big an audience as my play (it appears) deserved.
