This year, I have released more music albums under my new artist ID Purple Fantasy than I did in the entire forty years prior.

And this one might be the most… unruly. It’s called (Link:) Funk Preschool Dropout: Holy Little Punk.

This is my second Funk Preschool Dropout album this year. This album is messy on purpose.

It’s full of glue, tantrums, bubble wrap, and snacktime funk. It’s what happens when you hand the mic to your inner child — and they already know how to use a distortion pedal.

"Holy Little Punk" is the title track. It’s also the name of the kid at the heart of this sound.

Me. Prince. also known by my friends...certain friends.... as Baby Chaka.

A little misfit who colors outside the lines — and eats the crayons afterward. There’s Bubble Wrap Baby. There’s Snackbox Serenade. There’s Glue Eater Blues. It’s silly — but it’s sacred.

Because the moment you tell a kid they’re “too much” — you start erasing the artist in them. This album is my protest against that. It’s also my recess. I wrote this one on a Tuesday morning while sitting on the floor with some empty juice boxes and a beat I couldn’t stop humming. The funk came crawling in — barefoot, sticky-fingered, and bold as heaven.

Funk Preschool Dropout is what happens when the inner child refuses to grow up —and brings a drum machine.

This is Prince. And this is my new album: Funk Preschool Dropout: Holy Little Punk

Dated August Twenty-Seventh, Twenty Twenty-Five.

Note: I am legally and forensically certified and positively  identified as the living artist Prince Rogers Nelson.  I was assaulted with fentanyl in 2016 and then human trafficked - I recently escaped and returned to work.  The false reports erasing my existence have cost me millions of dollars.  Stop deadnaming me.
