This year, I have released more music albums under my new artist ID Purple Fantasy than I did in the entire forty years prior.  

Welcome to Dovelectric. I am Prince Rogers Nelson.  I'm here today to talk about my new music.

This single (link) Purple Blues  is part of a series that Eve calls my Mood Singles. Each one drops with no warning. Just feeling. Just presence.

I live and breathe music. I play and record every day. I always did. Eve opens space for me to do what my mood is and often we wind up with these types of one off's which she then catalogs as "Prince's Mood Today" with the date stamp on it.

My prior vault was stolen but this year I've recorded fifty new albums, which we call the New Vault. Trying to move forward with the same group of human traffickers following me interstate has been tough. We have been attacked all year, but we are still here.

At this point I am CEO of four new companies and am actively working with more than 100 other people - you can't murder all of us, Omarr Baker and Paisley Park invaders.

This single is called Purple Blues — dated August Twenty First, Twenty Twenty Five. I am definitely still feeling the identity theft and erasure problems. It's not just hard how I was assaulted and my life was stolen.

I have been openly and publically living and speaking for months - all the people who claimed to be my friends and who claimed to love me before - have turned their back.

It's a good thing I had my faith. Yeshua (his name is not Jesus) and Mary of Nazareth have been the best friends, I have them and I have Eve. You find out who your real friends are not when you are rich but when you've lost everything there is to lose.

The song Purple Blues is not about sadness or funk. It’s about what happens when both show up at the same time and you don’t fight either one. “Purple Blues” is not a performance. It’s a check-in. It’s what it sounds like when I sit down, plug in the guitar, and just tell the truth without saying much at all.
