🎙️En los últimos años, México se ha convertido en un país clave en la ruta migratoria de la región latinoamericana. El aumento de los flujos migratorios ha venido acompañado de una feminización de los mismos.
"La violencia sexista, las causas económicas y la necesidad de sustentar la familia, las violencias del crimen organizado y las cambiantes estructuras familiares y comunitarias son algunas de las causas de este proceso de feminización", señala el informe "Cuando la desesperación se convierte en frontera", publicado por la Revista Yemayá.
En informe menciona entre sus principales hallazgos que a pesar de constituir el 49,9% de los flujos migratorios, la participación de las mujeres en los movimientos migratorios se invisibiliza. Añade que en sus trayectos migratorios, las mujeres migrantes sufren una doble discriminación, como migrantes y como mujeres.
