Greer showcases the power of poetry as a storytelling medium with his collection, “Creepsake.” The poems delve into themes of darkness, memory, and the haunting presence of the past.
In the first part, “Haunt,” Greer explores the chilling experience of night terrors and the eerie sensation of encountering lost loved ones through a mysterious blue light. The second part, “The Field,” offers a unique narrative from the perspective of flowers observing human life. It focuses on Helena and her tumultuous relationship with Ramsey, reflecting on love, loss, and the impact of human actions on nature, culminating in a tragic and haunting conclusion.
