On this week's episode, we have the privilege of hearing from Halla Ramsey, RAAA Director of Operations, and Kaitlyn Fulmer, Registrations Team Lead. They provide an in-depth look into RAAA's upcoming National Convention, set to be held in Loveland, CO from September 9th-11th. Much like last year, the first day of Convention is full of activities, including the 2nd Annual RASF Golf Tournament and Dummy Roping Events. Wednesday belongs to the commercial side of the breed, with Commercial Cattlemen's Symposium set to commence. In the evening, the annual RASF Fundraiser and Auction will occur, this will include the annual Pick-of-the-Herd. This was generously donated this year by Scott and Kim Ford of Cross Diamond Cattle Company. Thursday will be the Association business day, where attendees where will hear from Keynote Speaker Dr. Charley Martinez, Halla will deliver the State of the Association, and the final Presidential Address from departing RAAA president Kyley DeVoe. To close out convention, Regional Caucus Breakouts and Board Elections will occur in the afternoon.
