Lance grew up struggling to fit in. Bullied and isolated, he found solace and self-worth in hockey—a sport that gave him identity, purpose, and an escape. At just 11 years old, he left his home and his mother to move across the country with his father, chasing his dream on the ice. But instead of finding safety and support, he was met with the harsh reality of living under the roof of a cruel stepmother.
Without a mother's nurturing presence and feeling emotionally unsafe, Lance’s anxiety took hold. As a teen, he turned to substances to numb the pain—a path that would lead him into years of darkness and self-destruction. The heartbreak didn’t stop there: Lance lost his brother to suicide and his father to a sudden heart attack. With those losses, his dreams of a professional hockey career unraveled, he was left without direction, identity, or hope.
Until he made a choice to change his path.
Through deep inner work, relentless determination, and the courage to face himself, Lance completely transformed his life.
