Are there people in your life — a partner, a child — that you wish would act or behave differently? Can you see their potential, and does that have you caught in a loop of judgment, resentment, anger, and frustration? When we see through a lens of judgment, we actually deny our own ability to love ourselves and others.

In this solo episode, I get really personal about a situation that happened with my sister and how it became my own living “hell.” I was tormented watching her deny her own potential, and I felt helpless — even rotten inside — for the level of judgment I held toward her and, in turn, toward myself. It was a looping cycle that kept me stuck.

After taking one of the teachings from A Course in Miracles and applying it to my situation I was in a single moment able to shift my perspective— and in front of my eyes, the miracle happened. All the negative emotion melted away. I softened, and I saw my sister’s innocence. The shift within me, and around me, was profoundly healing.

When we choose to see others through the lens of love, the “hell” we find ourselves in melts away — and true healing begins.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
