Welcome to the 3rd Person Perspective! This is the worldview that built the modern world and (depending on the study) where most of us reside, often quietly exhausting ourselves with an endless to-do list and the voice that says, "when I reach that goal, then I'll feel better".

We explore the shift to a self-authored identity, where who you are is more about your own beliefs and achievements, rather than group roles and expectations. To "see" this change, we introduce you to Harvard psychologist Robert Kegan's subject-object shift. At 3rd PP, one of the huge shifts we make turns unconscious judgments into objects of awareness we can work with for the first time.

We also share a significant announcement about a free online "human skills gym" called The Circle. Sign up today at https://rememberingyou.life/circle
