This episode is one that has been burning on my heart. I recently saw a post in a Christian women’s group where a mom asked how to lead her family when her husband was an unbeliever. The first response said, “We are not called to lead.”

I about dropped my phone. Because here’s the truth: motherhood is leadership. Marriage is leadership. Being a woman of God is leadership.

In today’s episode, I’m diving into what the Bible really says about women in leadership — in our homes, in our marriages, and as moms raising children who know Jesus. We’ll look at examples of women leaders in the Bible like Deborah, Esther, Priscilla, and more. I’ll share the scriptures that guide me, from 1 Peter 3 to Matthew 5 and beyond, and unpack what it looks like to lead with humility, character, and Spirit-led love.

If you’ve ever been told that you “shouldn’t lead,” or felt unsure about your role as a wife and mom when your husband isn’t walking closely with the Lord, this conversation will set you free. You are called. You are equipped. You are the light of your home.

You’ll hear:

  • Why leadership is more about example and character than titles or positions
  • How to lead with love and humility in your home
  • Scriptures that prove women have always been leaders in God’s story
  • Encouragement if you’re married to an unbelieving or lukewarm spouse
  • Practical ways to shine the light of Jesus for your kids and husband

Mama, I want you to know you are not overstepping when you lead your family toward Jesus. You are being obedient. You are modeling Christ’s love. And you are sparking revival in your home.

I pray this episode encourages you, breaks off shame or lies you’ve believed, and reminds you that leading as a mom is a holy calling.

Let’s step into holy leadership, together. 💛

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
