💁🏻 Concept: Inherited Corruption Inherited corruption, also known as original pollution, refers to the sinful nature we all received from Adam. We are not sinners because we sin; we sin because we are sinners by nature. This means: 1. We totally lack spiritual good before God. 2. We are totally unable to do spiritual good apart from grace. Our thoughts, desires, and actions are naturally bent away from God—we are spiritually dead until He makes us alive.

🎙Discussion: Why is it important to recognize that Jesus is the solution to the greatest problem of humanity?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord God, I confess that my heart apart from You is broken, selfish, and corrupt. I thank You that in Your mercy, You sent Jesus not only to forgive my sins, but to give me a new heart. I acknowledge that I can do nothing good without You. Thank You for rescuing me from the bondage of sin. Change my thoughts, desires, and actions by the power of Your Spirit. Make me more like Christ every day. Lord, it is my desire to participate in Your work of transforming the world. Use me. Make me Your instrument to bring positive change into this world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
