Sage Space. What happens when our only intention is to connect? We open to conversations about what calls, challenges, moves, and transforms us—our purpose, struggles, life transitions, dreams—the shared experiences that shape us. And magic. The kind of magic that can look like breakthroughs, wisdom, healing, joy, and love. To cultivate this, we begin each episode with a somatic regulation practice to help us ground and connect with ourselves and each other. Then we explore what emerges. Some episodes are solo, where I share stories about my own journey. Others are meaningful conversations with guests where they share wants on their hearts and minds. And some are with a small group of guests about things like leadership, career transitions, and midlife. My hope is that through these conversations, we discover together the magic that’s always available when we show up with presence, curiosity, and open hearts, for ourselves and each other, and we remember the power of connection. About Your Host I’m Maridelle Leyva, a hopeful pragmatist and compassionately honest guide. I bring heart, curiosity, and wisdom to these conversations. At 56, I’m a menopausal, divorced, empty-nester, immigrant, and former executive on a spiritual journey, learning to tap into inner, ancient, and Universal wisdom to thrive. With over 25 years of corporate leadership experience and having interviewed over a thousand people, I’ve learned that the same core things bring joy and meaning to our lives: purposeful impact, authentic success, feeling healthy in our bodies, and loving relationships. This wisdom isn’t new, indigenous ancient cultures have recognized it for centuries, and I’m grateful to have heard it first-hand. I ’m inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: ”When you get, give. When you learn, teach.” This podcast is one way I get and give, learn and teach. I believe in the power of human connection, and I strive to bring that to my life, my work, and this podcast.
