Today, I'll guide you through a Reiki healing experience intended to help with peace.

The best way to experience Reiki is either lying down.

Sitting with your back supported.
If you choose to sit, I find it's helpful to have a pillow on your lap to rest your arms.
We'll start with some breath work so you ground, relax and connect with your body.
Then we'll do a guided visualization for a couple minutes.

I'll then stop speaking and you'll just hear music for about 15 minutes as you continue to receive Reiki energies.
I invite you to open to receiving whatever you need right now.
Today we're going to do equal ratio box breathing, where we inhale through the nose for four counts.

Hold at the top of the breath cycle for four counts.
Exhale through the nose for four counts and hold at the bottom of the breath cycle for four counts.
This type of breathing has been shown to bring a sense of calm and steadiness.
By gently activating the parasympathetic response, start by just connecting to your breath.

Notice your inhale and your exhale, and if you feel comfortable doing so, place one hand on your heart and the other one on your glow belly.
You can close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Now find and exhale wherever you are.
And then inhale through your nose for four counts, 2, 3, 4.
Holding at the top, 2, 3, 4.
Exhale through the nose to.
Three, four.
Hold at the bottom.

Inhale through the nose, allowing the belly to expand.

You choose to journey to the meadow of peace, you know exactly where it is.

You walk barefoot on the path that peace created.

As you walk on the rich soil, you soak up earth energies through the soles of your feet.
Energies of love, nourishment, and nurturing and care.
As you continue to walk along your path, you feel the energies of the plants, flowers, and trees around you.

They share their vitality and beauty with you.
You share your gratitude with them.
As you continue to walk, you feel the energies of the animals around you.
They share their joy and excitement with you.

You share your gratitude with them.
As you continue to walk along your path, you see a clearing.
It is the meadow of peace.
As you gaze upon the meadow, you exhale and feel a deep sense of hope.

The meadow is beautiful and tranquil.
It welcomes you as you walk to the center of the meadow.
You are at ease.
You feel safe.

At the center of the meadow, there's a clearing with soft, lush grass.
You decide to rest there.
As you rest, you feel cared for, you feel supported.
You feel like you belong.
