When Alexei shared with him the Good News—that salvation is a free gift from Jesus, not earned by works—Nikolai was amazed. He said, “No one’s ever told me that Heaven is a free gift! From that moment, I can no longer be the same! Jesus has changed me!” Now, Nikolai is studying the Bible and preparing to be baptized at his church.
