Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

Over the course of the summer, we will be sharing with you some stories, thoughts, and encouragements from our staff on each continent around the globe. This week, we will be sharing testimonies from North America! I have heard many wary Christians doubt whether anyone is open to the Gospel here in the United States. We have seen Christians at our Equip America events start the day saying, "I'm scared...I don't want to go out." But then at the end, they will be saying something like, "We need to do this every day! Our whole church needs to be a part of this!" Because the truth is, sharing our faith is not as scary as we think it will be, and more people are open to hearing it than we imagine. In fact, we did a study with Lifeway Research that found that sixty-six percent of Americans are open to having a conversation about faith. So let's get started.
