Our Savior, Christ the Lord

Those words are some of the most monumental that have ever been uttered on this earth — and that's not even because an angel said them! What an amazing, miraculous thing — that the God who created the world and everything in it came to this earth as a baby. And He came for a purpose. He is our Savior, Christ the Lord. You see, we are all dead in our trespasses—this has been apparent since sin came into the world through Adam and Eve. And we have anxiously waited for the Messiah ever since. Well, He came, He lived the perfect life that we couldn't, He died on the cross for our sins as a sacrifice, and then He rose again from the dead—defeated sin and death!
