Something You Can Do is a podcast for people who are hungry for action steps. Each episode, we will welcome a co-host or guest to tell us something you can do - whether that ”thing” is trying a mindfulness meditation, writing a letter to your local representative, or using the double cleanse method to wash your face. This podcast will help you explore new ways to enrich your life - in the very least, each episode will share something you can do. Podcast art by Julian Parikh, music by Tom Diognardi.
Something you can do is: Start your day at 3 pm! Host KJ Kozak talks about why your day doesn't have to be a wash if you're not able to get up at your usual time.

Something you can do is: Make a doctor's appointment! Geared towards folks in the United States who might be feeling lost or overwhelmed, or who have never had to make their own doctor's appointment before. Host KJ, a seasoned doctor's appointment maker both for herself and for others, offers some suggestions for how to tackle this really important task. You deserve medical care!!!
Something you can do is: Send a care package! From thinking about what items you might include to getting it in the mail, KJ discusses the how and why of sending a care package to someone who might need a little support.
Something you can do is: Ask someone about themselves! KJ once again tries to single-handedly solve the loneliness epidemic by offering suggestions, ideas, and prompts for asking people things about themselves. Perfect for anyone who feels socially anxious, socially awkward, or socially superficial.
Something you can do is: Drink water! Once again, your intrepid host finds a way to turn a two step process (find water, drink water) into a whole podcast episode. Listen in for ideas to make water more palatable and an extremely cursory overview of why drinking water is increasingly a political act.
Something you can do is: Text a friend! Host KJ Kozak offers up texting a friend as a thing you might do, seeing as we all need a little more connection these days.

Something you can do is: Pet a dog! Whether you're looking for step-by-step instructions or just needed a reminder of something you can do, petting a dog is a great way to make a new friend and find a little comfort.

Something you can do is: Get your nails done! KJ talks about some of the options when it comes to getting a salon manicure, whether you just need a little pampering or want a new set of "claws."
KJ talks with Dr. Jenesse Kaitz about improving your sleep! While none of this is medical advice, we talk about lots of things you can do around sleep.
