Rob is a distinguished recording engineer and audio producer who established the current Power Station Recording Studios in Pompano Beach, leveraging the acoustic design expertise of his friend and business partner, Tony Bongiovi, renowned for his work with the legendary Power Station in New York. As the Director of Studio Operations at Power Station, Rob upholds the studio's tradition of recording excellence, utilizing a wide array of carefully selected equipment, including the legendary 72-channel Neve 9098i. The studio celebrated the 20th anniversary of its first session at the Pompano Beach facility.
Rob Roy's credentials are impressive. He is a voting member of The Grammy's and The Recording Academy, a member of the Audio Engineering Society of America (AES), and a co-founder of the South Florida chapter. He also serves as the Executive VP for Bongiovi Acoustic Labs, an engineer for Bongiovi Medical & Health Technologies, and a board member of Bongiovi Aviation.
