Susan is a "crunchy" mom who home schools her kids. The one child she did not get vaxxed is the one who is on the autism spectrum. He is a non-speaker, and she uses the Spellers Method with him to do his school lessons and to teach him how to communicate. She encourages other parents to take their time and not to compete with others on their Spelling journey. She runs a support group for other families of non-speakers who home school called "Non Speakers Home School Support".
