Spiritual Teamwork

Spiritual Teamwork

Nobody makes the spiritual journey alone. Spiritual Teamwork is a personal podcast for people who are crawling through spiritual growth. I don't do the polished version. I talk about the stumbling, the returning, the slow uphill climb toward something larger than yourself. Each episode draws from Christian faith, Buddhist wisdom, Daoist thought, addiction recovery, and the deep wells of the world's contemplative traditions to explore what spiritual formation actually looks like from the inside. If you've ever felt like the journey was harder than it should be, but also more full of light than you expected, this show is for you. More at SpiritualTeamwork.com and StephenCrenshaw.com.

Stephen talks about how a Friday night men's group and Richard Foster's Celebration of Discipline set him on a 25-year journey that ended up creating this podcast. He explains why he draws from multiple world religions, psychology, and recovery traditions — and what this podcast is really here to do.
