Visste du att dina kastruller hemma i skåpet kan ha varit en bil tidigare? Eller att cykeln du tog till jobbet i morse kanske började sina ståldagar som en lampfot? Varje år åker skrot som motsvarar 125 000 bilar in i Ovakos ljusbågsugn i Hofors, för att sedan bli till nytt stål och nya saker – I ALL OÄNDLIGHET. Stål går nämligen att återvinna hur många gånger som helst utan att kvaliteten blir sämre!
I Sverige återvinns nästan allt stål som produceras. Fantastiskt förstås – men än finns det mycket kvar att göra. Vad måste till för att våra samhällen ska bli mer cirkulära och hur jobbar Ovako för att ingenting i produktionen ska gå till spillo?
