I'm em and I'm back again with anew guest this week.
We have somebody super special. Her name is Tatiana and she is

(01:22):
the owner of Halloween Om. How are you doing today,
Tatiana? Hi I am doing.
Fabulous. Well, I love to hear it.
You are the 1st of our, what I would say, alternative
treatments, medical homeopathic kind of things that we've had on
the podcast. So I'm really excited to have

(01:43):
this conversation and share whatReiki is with the listeners.
So let's start by you telling everybody a little bit about you
and then we'll get into the details of Ricky.
Sure, absolutely. I'm originally from New York.
I live in Miami and I own a pet sitting service for 11 years
now, which I absolutely love. I transitioned over in 2013 from

(02:08):
a career in accounting. I worked for corporate America
for 13 years and was going to just drop dead doing that.
And so my passion was always with animals and I said I have
to change something and follow my my passion.
And so I literally quit one day,two weeks, gave my two weeks and
I started my doggy daycare and it's been going strong for 11

(02:33):
years. And then recently, I would say
right before the pandemic 2019, I started my healing journey, I
guess you can say, or my holistic journey.
And I had a friend introduced meto Reiki, which I was kind of
like, what is that and what do you mean?
How does that work and does it work?

(02:53):
All those questions that people have and I am somebody who's
very skeptical. So I need to either feel it, see
it, taste it, hear it and see results for me to actually
believe in it. I did Reiki circles once a week
and I would attend them still excrete, extremely skeptical.
And I would say from the first and second session I was blown

(03:13):
away. My body felt so light.
It felt amazing, It felt energized.
New things in my life were opening up career path,
different things with the pet sitting business and just all
these positive changes, even changes you would consider
negative in the moment, but later realized it was to open
new doors and make new connections.

(03:35):
And so a year passed and my Reiki master said would you like
to become a Reiki master? And I said no, not really.
I would say my Forte is more with animals and not with
people. And he said no problem, you can
do Reiki on animals. And I said what?
And he said absolutely. So I went home and I thought
about it and I was like, OK, letme see if this really works.

(03:58):
And so I research. And I was like, Oh my God, he's
right. Obviously he's right.
He's the raking master. And then I said, Oh my gosh,
this would be great. I already have a pet sitting
service. I have clientele.
I can incorporate this as an extra service and see how it
goes. So I did Reiki class
certification one and two and then Reiki Master 3 and got it

(04:21):
tuned. And I would say that the Reiki
Master 3 certification was one of the most unique and amazing
one in a lifetime experience I've ever had that I wish
everybody could experience because I was literally
receiving Reiki from four horsesas I laid down on the table.
And it was just magical how these majestic beings were

(04:45):
literally tapping my throat chakra, tapping my heart chakra,
grounding me from my feet. And it changed my life.
And so that's how Howling Om came about.
And as I got certified, I came home, I was excited, I started
the business and it's been 4 years now and I love it.
I'm hoping to transition everything just into holistic

(05:07):
healing, not just Reiki, but I also do sound healing, crystal
healing, aromatherapy, and currently getting certified as
acupressure masseuse, I guess you can say, for horses and
canines and holistic nutrition for dogs, cats and horses.
So yeah, that's a little bit about me.
Awesome. So I did the same thing.
I decided that I was going to dothe Reiki path.

(05:30):
This all happened around 2017 for me.
I went through my journey. This was before I got Fitz and I
was fully through Reiki Master three.
I think I graduated in October of 2019 and then I did the same
thing. I was like, I don't really do
people. So I have done Reiki for

(05:51):
animals. I don't do it as a business like
you do it. Just do it if it comes up or
when I was pet sitting or thingslike that.
I'm sure everybody is now like, what the heck is Reiki?
I'm sure there's a few of them that are with us here, but a lot
of people are probably going, what the heck are they even
talking about? So yes, I'm gonna let you tell
everybody what Reiki is and and how it's represented in the

(06:14):
healing community. Absolutely.
Most people, it would say more in the city are kind of have
more awareness and information on Reiki, but more on the human
side. So it's still a small niche that
are now kind of become more aware to Reiki and holistic
healing or energy healing, as I call it, the different type of
energy healings for animals. A lot of people when I tell

(06:37):
them, have you ever had Reiki orheard Reiki?
They're like, yeah. And then when I say, well, did
you know that you can also do them on animals?
They're like, what? Oh my God, It's still pretty
new, but definitely moving fast. And so Reiki in general, it's
it's a modern energy healing. It was born in Japan.
There's a doctor called, I always say his name wrong, but I
say it Macau Uzui. No, you can correct me if I'm

(07:01):
wrong. And he was the one who came up
with Reiki. It's a very ancient type of
energy healing that was used in Japan and all over Asia for
thousands and thousands of centuries.
I mean, these people have gottenit right from the beginning.
Really what it translates to is that Rey in the word Reiki is
universal or spiritual wisdom. And then Keith and Reiki is

(07:22):
similar to chi, which is Chinesemedicine.
And Qi is our energy force. It's our life force that we're
born with. It's the life force that we
continue to have until we pass and we leave this earth.
So together, the word Reiki means the universal life force
energy. So what Reiki practitioners are
is that we're basically vessels that Channel this energy force

(07:43):
from the universe or from God orBuddha, whoever, whatever
spirituality you believe in. And we channel it out through
our hands onto either the personor the animal.
So that's the just of it I wouldsay.
Good summary on that. I don't even know how to say the
guy's first name either. I just like, I might like you
Sui. I can say that like that's not
hard. I got it right.

(08:03):
Let's talk a little bit about the process because there is a
process you do have to go through.
Let's call it a journey to get certified, you have to go
through a process. Now.
For me, it was three separate parts.
Was it 3 separate parts for you as well?
Yes. Correct, it was certification
for level 1, level 2 and then Level 3 which was for the Reiki

(08:24):
Mass. Yes and suey fire Reiki master I
think I have some ex special thing on it because my master
had a special thing. I just want to know how to do
it. Yes, exactly.
Yeah, My mentor had the same thing.
She had fire and some other stuff and I was like, OK, I just
want to know how to do it. I feel I'm the same way.

(08:44):
So OK, why don't you talk a little bit about the process,
the journey and tell everybody what you went through.
And obviously there are certain things that in Reiki, as
teachers, we are not allowed to talk.
About right there are. You know, some, some things and
I'm just going to explain this to the listeners because it's
like when you go through school, you earn the right to do

(09:07):
something right. You earn the right to use
certain tools in your practice. So we're not going to get deep,
deep, deep into that. But what kind of experience it
was and what kind of mindset youhave to have and validate.
There's a lot of meditation and it is a very personal journey.
So just tell your story a littlebit.
Sure, absolutely. As I mentioned before, when I

(09:29):
started getting into this, I wasskeptical and I was going to the
Reiki circles once a week and then experiencing it through my
body and life changes and opening doors and all this
creative stuff and business stuff and personal things that
were turning positive. And I was like, wow, this is
great. So when I started doing the
Reiki certification, level one people are like, So what do you

(09:51):
do? What's going on?
And basically it is a lot, a lotof meditation.
Reading up on the history of theReiki, how it works, and
basically it works on anything. I was very shocked to find out
that you can do it on a piece ofpaper.
If you're trying to manifest something, you can do it on a
table. I thought it was only for living
things. And then in that class they
explained to you that you can doit for anything.

(10:14):
You can manifest any desire, anychanges, but it has to come from
within and you really do have to, you really have to be
centered in all three aspects. So mentally, emotionally,
physically, for me, it was just a lot of background information
where it derived from, from who,how it was used.
And then they go into how long distance Reiki works, which I

(10:37):
found really fascinating becauseI was skeptical from hands on.
And then when they said you can do long distance Reagi, I was
like, well, that how does that work?
You learn in the classes that everything is energy, even
something like a table is energy, where energy, animals
are energy, everything is energy.
And clearly without energy, nothing would circulate in this

(10:57):
world. Once I understood those
fundamentals, I was like, OK, soyou can send energy anywhere and
meditation is part of that energy.
When somebody's meditating or when you're meditating, you're
really centered into yourself, into your your visions, what
comes to you, how you're feeling, how to relax your body,
your breath work, clearing the mind, learning to be still.

(11:21):
And all of those things really help you concentrate, but really
help you into manifesting your desires, whatever that is.
Whether you want to change jobs, move, travel, have a partner,
obtain any, you know, anything you're trying to obtain career
goals in the classes, you just learn to really be in that
meditative state, how to clear the mind, how to do breath work.

(11:43):
And then also while doing that, you are the vessel and learning
how to channel that energy through your body from all the
chakras, which those are. One of the primary fundamentals
of level 1 certification is learning that humans all have 7
chakras and it starts from the top, which is the crown and then
our third eye and then our throat chakra, our heart chakra,

(12:04):
our solar plexus, our sacral, and right down to the pubic bone
is our grounding chakra, our root chakra.
You learn about these chakras and you learn about how
everything is connected and how the energy flows through these
chakras and how on our day-to-day, our stress levels,
our routine, our relationships, everything that we're going
through in life, illnesses, stuff like that.

(12:26):
We all have stagnant energy and we all hold on for emotions and
we hold on to our stress and we just hold on to everything
because we're humans. And so these chakras, which are
energy centers and start closingup little by little.
And So what the Reiki does is itallows to open up the chakras,
to balance the chakras and to allow that chi and that life
force to run freely and balance everything in our body,

(12:49):
translating that into animals. Animals have more chakras than
we do. I know for cats, dogs and
horses, they have a chakra that's extremely important
called the brachial chakra, and that energy center actually
connects all the other 7 chakras.
And so for dogs and cats, they also have on the bottom of their

(13:09):
feet, they are called pad chakras.
For them, it's a lot easier to be grounded because you're
constantly touching the floor. Unlike humans, we have to take
off our shoes, walk barefoot, feel the earth, feel the ground
in order to get that energy thatjust rises up into our root
chakra and all the way up to ourchakras.
Those are things that you're learning in the class.
And then they explain the long distance Reiki and how energy

(13:30):
travels anywhere. And that's why when you have a
group of 50, a hundred, 1000 people who are meditating at one
time, things can shift, right? Energy shifts.
Peace can come into, I don't want to say stop a war, but
definitely interfere. It can make changes to healing
an animal, healing a baby, health conditions.

(13:51):
It can just bring healing to a lot of things.
And it changes so many things. When this energy is combined
with a lot of people. It was very eye opening for me,
like wow, that's true. Energy travels everywhere.
So I can definitely see how the Reiki can work long distance.
And then of course you have practice hours just like
everything else. You know, you can call it

(14:12):
clinical hours or hands on whatever you want to call it,
but you have to have a certain amount of hours in order to get
certified for long distance Reiki for in person Reiki and
then to become a master Reiki. So those hours you practice and
in there you can really see how the long distance Reiki works,
which for me was I was taken back by that.
I was like, wow, this really does work.

(14:32):
And a lot of the times I do see instant results.
Other times it takes time. A lot of people sometimes think,
oh, is this like magic? You know, you do one session and
everything is great, and that's not necessarily the case.
Everything multiple sessions is optimal and it works better and
it makes the body function better.
You feel lighter and healthier and all those things and then

(14:53):
you just continue on to each level.
Each level has for me of a different intensity and you also
have to get attuned after every level.
The Reiki master or the Reiki teacher who's teaching the
class, they have special skills and to attune you and bring you
to that level. I don't want to get too much
deep into it because like you said, we have our little

(15:14):
community has certain tools thatwe keep to ourselves to activate
Reiki and do all these things. I think for me, my Level 3 was
the most significant. Like I said, I received the
Reiki from the horses and Level 3 Reiki for me was really when
it's when I really learned how to become in tune with the
animals, with their chakras, theadditional chakras that they
have and the difference between connecting with humans compared

(15:39):
to how you connect with animals.Because animals don't have the
ego and they don't have mental blockages and they don't have
the stress that we do, that we naturally put up our own
blockages so that energy isn't flowing as it should.
Animals don't have that. And so, for me anyway, there's a
huge difference in connecting with animals than connecting.

(16:00):
With the humans, I completely agree.
My long distance Reiki session, the first one was the same for
me. I was like, holy cow, like this
is actually happening. And I've actually done quite a
bit of long distance Reiki on yes, animals like and, and
you're right. I I agree.
Working with animals in that sense is so much easier than

(16:21):
working with people. We hold on to everything.
And dogs are just like what you recently posted a, a video,
which it'll be down the road nowby the time this comes out.
But I want you to share it againwith everybody and talk about
how you let the animals pick themain crystal that you work with
and the selection process. Because that video that you

(16:44):
posted the other day with the dog choosing her crystal, it was
so obvious when she made her choice and it was just really
cool to see. Yes, yes, absolutely.
I would say my motto or my method in the Reiki sessions,
and it's one of the things I love the most about Reiki
sessions or any type of energy dealing with animals is that I

(17:06):
truly let them lead the session. And a lot of my clients, the pet
owners, they don't understand that until they actually see it
because it's amazing animals just like we do.
They know naturally what their body needs.
And so I always present whateverextra modality I'm adding into
the Reiki session. I always present it to the
animal and I let them choose. I let them select what they need

(17:29):
and it never, ever fails. Whenever they choose a crystal,
first thing I do when I get homeis look up the healing
properties or the spiritual properties, physical properties
of the crystal and it always aligns with the condition that
they are currently going through.
Whether it's anxiety, digestive issues, dementia because you're
a senior dog, feeling fearful, whether it's a rescue animal

(17:53):
that's coming into a new home and it's not understanding the
space or the routine, arthritis, bones, muscle issues, atrophy,
anything. It always aligns and I'm always
blown away. I do this all the time, but each
time I'm just blown away and it works with everything.
If I'm including aromatherapy orthe Bok flower essence, I allow
them to select which one. I allow them to smell it.

(18:14):
And I think I have a video that I posted of Polly.
She's a senior pity. I show her about 5 different
oils and she says clearly, she says no.
Like she turns her head away andthen the one that she likes, she
tries to lick the bottle. So when people see that, when
clients see that, they're like, Oh my gosh, how do they know?
How do they pick that and why? So I explained to them, it's the

(18:36):
same way when you walk into a crystal store or anything that
you feel attracted to and you'relike, Oh my God, I like this.
Or I want this bracelet or this stone calls out to me, or this
crystal, I just want to hold it.Or it's the first one that
caught my eye. I would say 10 out of 10, if you
look up that crystal, it's either something relating to
what you're going through, something that you're feeling an

(18:57):
emotional state that you're in asituation you might be stuck in.
People are always blown away like, wow, was that a
coincidence incidence. And I always say it's not a
coincidence. Our bodies are energetically
attracted to things that we either need or need to dispel or
get rid of. Same like when you're have
cravings or sometimes your body wants to cleanse itself.

(19:20):
And maybe that week you just want to eat salads.
And people will sometimes be like, you know, this week all
I've been wanting to eat a salador all I've been wanting to eat
a soup, or all I've been wantingto eat is like a certain type of
poultry or meat. And it's really because your
body's asking for it, whether it's a deficiency, whether it
needs extra minerals or antioxidants or some type of
vitamin, if you look down to theroot of it, you'll see that it's

(19:41):
because your body is asking for something.
Animals are the same way. And it's just amazing to see how
they truly select exactly what they need.
And even if they don't select A crystal or an oil or a Bok
flower essence during a Reiki session, I always allow them to
lead as well. And horses, I have to say, are
one of the most amazing clients because they will literally.

(20:04):
Move your hand, they will tap your hand, they will poke you to
where they want you to place your hands for the Reiki.
And dogs. Do dogs and cats do the same
thing? Intentionally put my hand for
the root chakra because let's say the root chakra is closed.
And I'll say, OK, we're going to, we're going to focus on the
root chakra. We're going to get that root
chakra open. We're going to line these, these

(20:26):
chakras and get that energy flowand they will move to another
place. And I, I'll be like, no, I want
to work on the root chakra. And they'll say no.
And so they'll move their body to position themselves exactly
where they need the Reiki. And that to me is just amazing
each and every session. Think that.
Horses are just kind of majesticand I am loving Seriously, the

(20:51):
dog trainer dog professional horse girl world is like a real
thing. Yeah.
No idea there were so many of usthat rode horses when we were
younger or still ride horses today.
I don't ride horses anymore. I can't physically ride horses
anymore. I did, I went to summer camp
every summer and I did the horseriding camp and I used to ride

(21:13):
horses on my ex sister in law's farm and all the things I just I
love horses and horses are just such cool animals.
I would I would imagine that they're obviously pretty
opinionated as it is, but I would.
Imagine they are. Very insistent when it comes to
oh this good please. Move that over here.
Yes, extremely, extremely. They're very, very bold.

(21:34):
I mean, you know, horses, some are very gentle for giving and
kind and others are shooters. And they're just like, no, I
said here, don't move. And I'm like, OK.
OK, sorry about that. Yes, It's so funny because they
truly are just, they are just magical animals and they are

(21:55):
extremely intuitive. I mean, very, very and yeah.
And dogs are the same way. I mean, cats are too, too.
It just depends on your personality.
It's the same like you said withcrystals you attract what is
kind of your vibe, right? I feel like my vibe has changed
a lot in the last how many yearssince I've been on personal

(22:15):
journey, right? Cajun was my first dog and he
was super calm and super easy and super laid back.
And now I have fit. Who has been my catalyst for
change? Yeah, exactly. 100% opposite.
But he's been my catalyst for change.
When I needed it, right, I always tell people that he
healed me and I didn't need to know that I needed to be healed.

(22:35):
And so I probably going to attract that kind of dog in the
future because I am a very hard headed person and I am not going
to give up. It does not matter how difficult
the dog is. I mean, I've talked about this
in other episodes, but behavioral euthanasia is
definitely a last step thing forme.
I have had to do it before and it is a terrible thing to have

(22:57):
to go through honestly. Reiki me and therapy helped me a
lot with how to process that grief and that guilt and all
that stuff. That's a little bit about Reiki
and what it's like to experienceReiki, because I know that is
also very different for people. It is, it is, it is very
different for people first, at least for me at the beginning,

(23:19):
my first session, they always say, and I even tell my clients
as well, if you might feel tingly, you might feel cold, you
might feel really hot, you mightfeel a little woozy or you might
not feel anything at all. And that's OK.
It's still working. Everybody has a different
experience. There is no right or wrong.
It's just what journey you're going through and how your body

(23:40):
experiences things. Also how stagnant or stuck your
energy might be, how much blockage you might have in your
body, stuff like that. But I know for me in my first
session, my head hurt for like aday and I'm, I've never suffered
from headache. I was kind of like, this doesn't
work, I have a headache. What happened, What did they do
to me? This is not.

(24:01):
And when I asked the Reiki master, he said, no, this is
normal. Your body is releasing and
you're just feeling it in the form of a lot of pressure in
your head, but it will subside. It's nothing negative, nothing
wrong. And I was still kind of like, I
don't know, because I've never had headaches.
I don't suffer from headaches ormigraines.
And this just feels odd. But he was right.

(24:22):
Little by little, it was subsiding and it went away
within 12 hours. It wasn't even a full day, but
it was something strange. Your body just feels all kinds
of different things. And then I think for the second
session, that's when I actually felt tingly all over my body.
Like when your foot or your leg falls asleep and then you get

(24:42):
tingly and you're like, this feels so weird.
I felt that every session I would feel something different.
Sometimes I would feel really cold and I would need a blanket.
Other times I would get really hot and sweaty.
Other times I've had certain parts of my body like pulsate 1
time that I will never ever forget.
I thought I was elevated. I could see myself from the top.

(25:06):
It's like an out of body experience where I can see
myself laying down and I felt like I was elevating and I
freaked out. And then I just opened my eyes
and I was like, no, I'm still laying down on the ground.
You're fine. Nothing is wrong with you.
And other times I've even felt like the Reiki practitioner is
still conducting Reiki on one specific part of my body and

(25:28):
I'll open my eyes and they're not even there.
They're somewhere completely different on my body.
But you're still feeling the heat in that area or you're
feeling the pressure and you're saying, whoa, that's wild.
So yeah, I would say every session is different.
We're always evolving. We're always changing.
Our vibrations on a daily basis fluctuate.

(25:49):
Sometimes our frequencies are really high.
Our vibrations are really high. If you're happy, you're having a
great day, you wake up in a great mood, you're dancing, the
sun is shining and that vibration that your frequency is
up there. And then there's days, wake up,
wake up. You know, especially for women,
we're not in the best mood or we're going through a menstrual
cycle or menopause. Your vibration is so low.

(26:10):
You're just like, my gosh, everyexperience you have, depending
on what you're going through andhow you're feeling is going to
be different. And so sometimes a lot of people
be like, Oh my God. Well, this session I felt this.
And I told him, yeah, for me, depending on how I'm feeling,
what I'm going through, every session is going to be
different. So don't get fixated on this
time I didn't feel tingly but last time I did or this time I

(26:34):
felt cold and last time I didn'tor this session I didn't feel
anything physically. I don't know how for you, but
for me whenever I've had Reiki done, don't.
I don't tend to do it at night because I cannot sleep.
I have so much energy. I am like wired.
Yes, I'm always super wired afterwards.
Yeah, I don't like to do it after 6:00 or 7:00 in the

(26:54):
evening. Yes, like 2.
Hours to one. Yeah, Yes, exactly, exactly.
And there's other times that it just puts you in a very nice
meditative state and you just want to sleep or you're just
like, this is the best. I just want to transition over
to my bed without having to move.
So it really just depends on on different things for everybody.
It's just a different experience.

(27:15):
What I would like to experience is what the animals actually
feel. It's definitely something I've
always wondered, do they feel the same thing we do?
Do they get the tingly feeling? Do they feel cold or hot?
Do they have those out of body experiences or are they just?
I'd love to know. I do Reiki on Toby all of the
time because he just lays there and lets me do it.

(27:37):
You know what I mean? I always tell people, for me, it
feels like ocean waves going up higher and higher and higher up
my arms. But it's got the heat behind it,
so it's like warm waves. It's just like.
Are coming you. Know up my arm but a same I
don't know what it feels like when I give Reiki to other
people because I have had several people practice Reiki on

(28:01):
me and it feels different from each one of them.
We preach this so many times about our dogs are unique
individuals, but we are unique individuals and so of course the
energy that we put out there andwe're a filter.
So my instructor explained it. The universe is the outlet in
the wall, and then we are the plug and our client is power

(28:24):
strip. We're the conductor, OK?
We are not the energy. We are not giving the energy,
correct? We're not changing the energy.
We're just the conductor of the energy.
Yes, I feel the energy move through me.
Yes, I feel it move through the other person, but I don't add
anything to it. I don't take anything away from

(28:46):
it and I don't alter it. It's like mixing things in a
bowl, right? I'm just stirring it up a little
bit. Absolutely.
And that's definitely a questionthat a lot of people have.
Are you guys altering something? What are you doing to us?
Are you changing anything? Is this magic?
Is it a religion? I always try to explain it's not
a religion, it's not magic. Like you said, we're just a

(29:07):
vessel. We're a conductor and all we're
doing is channeling the energy that we are all surrounded by
through US on to you using your own energy and the energy of the
universe. It's not any type of magic or
taking away energy or giving youenergy.
So yes, definitely something we love.

(29:29):
Would love to clarify on that because I know that's always a
question and it was a question of mine.
I think everybody has that question because it just seems
so surreal. And so I get it.
But yes, I'm happy we clarified that where.
I love the way your instructor made that and.
I loved it too. I thought, yeah, a really good
way to explain it because, yeah, there is a lot of confusion
around that, especially people who are new in energy work,

(29:51):
right? If you've never experienced
energy work, if you've never hadReiki, if you've never worked
with a shaman, if you've never had tarot readings, if you don't
know right, you know, working with crystals or oil or any of
that is light. It can be very easy to go into
it feeling nervous or biased or scared.
It's like my dogs. They're not typically upset by

(30:13):
objects. It's very easy for me to
introduce new things and I have crystals around my house and
there have definitely been timeswhen I have used crystals on my
animals. I have an entire crystal kit
that's specifically for Reiki for animals.
Yes, I'm sure you have the same thing.
And I've had the same experiencewhere there was a certain stone
or a certain combination of stones or whatever that was

(30:36):
attracted to that dog in that moment and other stones have
gone completely unused. So I think that this is
definitely one of those areas where ask question, do your
research here too, right? Ask questions because this is
not something that you can learnabout reading about it.
You can understand it, but you won't understand it until you

(30:57):
fully experience a great. Experience with a practitioner?
Exactly. Exactly.
I agree with that completely. And I think even you even have
different experiences with different practitioners.
I completely agree with that. I think that it's like going to
get facial or massage or your lashes or your hair, right?
Like you have a person that fitswell with you.

(31:19):
Therapy, don't go to somebody that Reiki doesn't feel good to
you, somebody that connects withyou.
And it's, I mean, exactly animals, they don't, they're not
going to have that bias or that judgment.
They'll probably accept it in any form as long as they're
comfortable with the person. But I think that, like you said,
it's just so much easier to workwith animals because they are so

(31:40):
accepting and more open to just like, oh, we're just going to
sit here and you're going to touch me and.
Yep. This rock on my head for a
second and they're just like, yeah, so they're like a
different experience. Absolutely.
They don't even have questions. They're just like, all right,
I'm in here for the ride. And then once it starts feeling
good or once they start getting into that meditative state and

(32:03):
that sleepiness and that feels so good, they're just like, oh,
this is heaven. So yeah, I totally agree.
Yeah. You want to talk a little bit
about some of the benefits of Reiki for animals.
Absolutely, yes. My gosh, there's so many
benefits just overall, but at least the ones that I I've
experienced that I've seen, I'veworked on and I've seen results

(32:23):
definitely for dogs who have suffer from separation anxiety
after the pandemic continues to be a huge, huge issue because
you know, we call them the pandemic babies.
A lot of people adopt A dog or acat or an animal through this
time. And so we spent, as we know, two
years pretty much working from home and just being home and

(32:44):
having that time with our pet. And then when things went back
to the day-to-day where we had to actually go into work or
leave the house, it created a huge void for the animals.
And they couldn't understand whyall of a sudden we went from
spending time 24/7 to now I onlyget to see you 6 to 8 hours a
day and six to eight of those hours you're sleeping.

(33:06):
So where do I fit in? It has created a huge behavioral
condition of separation anxiety and Reiki is very, very good.
Good for that. It really does.
I've seen it work with a lot of my clients at the pet sitting,
the doghouse as we call it, withthe Reiki.
And so it'll calm their nervous system down.
It brings their mental state to a calm state.

(33:28):
They relax and then I just work on them feeling comfortable,
secure, stable, confident that they can be on their own and
they don't have to be attached to their mom or dad's leg or
rib. So definitely for anxiety,
separation anxiety, even anxietytowards other pets.

(33:49):
I've seen it work really well bringing a new dog or a new pet
into the home and learning to share space for the dog who's
already been there for years andyou would consider that his
territory or his home. It has also worked for pets who
haven't gotten along because theparents decided to adopt another
dog or bring in another pet intothe home.

(34:09):
And obviously the one that has resided there that considers it
his home is not too happy about now bringing in this new thing.
Is he here to replace me? Why is he here?
I'm fine being only child or only for a baby.
So I've worked on cases where I've done Reiki on both
separately and then a session onboth dogs together, transferring

(34:31):
energy, meditating with them, breath work with them.
And it's really worked well connecting that energy and
allowing them to feel safe and secure where they don't feel
that one is replacing the other or entering into their space or
trying to take over their territory.
So definitely works with those behavioral issues.
Even reactive dogs. I live in Miami, FL and so we,

(34:53):
we do have a huge population of reactive bully breeds here
because people have bred them tofight and we'll dump them or
they'll do backyard breeding. And so we have a huge crisis
with these bully breeds. And so they're, they, they tend
to be reactive whether they're survivors from living on the

(35:14):
streets or where they're survivors from fighting rings or
used as bait dogs. So when they come out into the
real world, they are extremely reactive or they're beyond
survival mode for years and theydon't know how to and integrate
into normal society. So the Reiki has helped a lot to
bring it down to a state where they feel comfortable enough to

(35:34):
be outside and not feel that everything outside is a trigger.
Whether it's the wind blowing, aduck, a squirrel, fast movement
night. They've learned to integrate
with just regular life and they might still be reactive towards
other certain dogs. They have PTSD, which Reiki also
works well for that, the PTSD and it has also helped them to

(35:55):
come to a commerce stay and justnot be as reactive.
So I've seen cases where it has influence to bring the
reactivity level down, not fullyeradicated or fully gone, but it
has reduced it a significant amount.
Reiki has also helped clients ofmine who have been in surgery if
they've had an accident. One of my clients, Gizzy, he

(36:16):
jumped off the couch in his house, tore his ACL, needed
surgery. It was a whole mess.
And I did Reiki before his surgery, during his surgery,
which is where the long distanceReiki comes in and then for his
surgery. And then I've done multiple
visits to his home during his healing to do Reiki because it
also helps the body heal a lot faster, heal properly, heal

(36:38):
well, reduce pain, inflammation, any type of discomfort.
Using the Reiki along with western medicine I believe works
very well. I like using both.
I feel a combination of both works really well.
So it definitely. Studies, there's a study where
they were doing Reiki in a hospital for people after
surgery or people who were goingthrough chemo and all of this

(37:01):
stuff. And there's all of these induced
statistics, healing time and less effect from the chemo.
So any of you guys who are majorscience nerds and want to look
all of this stuff up, like thereare literally tons and tons of
studies out there. I read a bunch of them right
after I started going through myReiki journey because I wanted
to understand how it does. Yeah.

(37:23):
So it does truly affect, and I think that to your point, not
just Western medicine, but also Reiki, finding that nice point
between the two. But then yes, add one more thing
in there, a trainer, and then you have the trifecta, right?
Because you've got your vets, you've got your Reiki and you've
got your trainer, and now you have the full.
Picture for your exactly, exactly.

(37:43):
It comes full circle. And yeah, the Reiki works.
I totally agree with you. The Reiki works really well with
the trainer, especially if you're working on pets who are
reactive, pets who have PTSD, rescue dogs that are coming from
really dire situations, abuse, physical abuse, neglect,
starvation, all of those things or they've been kept in a room

(38:05):
and they've never been socialized.
The Reiki works really well withthe socialization and the
trainer at the same time. So yeah, absolutely agree with
you. I mean, I've seen first hand
that healing happens a lot quicker.
I've had clients come back and say the doctor is stunned.
He said the healing has been so fast that the body's healed well
and quickly. Doesn't know why, although we

(38:27):
do, we know why. So yeah, it helps with
everything. It helps even with pregnant
Mamas. You know, any pregnant animals
flow through into the fetus, into that forming baby, whether
it's a cat or a dog or a horse, a goat, pigs.
I do farm animals as well. And the Reiki works really well
with the moms if they're giving birth, after they give birth.

(38:47):
I mean, honestly, the Reiki is for everything.
For everything. Dogs who are super depressed, if
their owner has passed away and they're grieving, it works
really well for the grieving because if an animal stays in a
long period of a grieving state, they can become ill and
essentially pass. And Reiki allows the frequency
and the energy to level up, to rise up and get them out of that

(39:10):
state and not put so much pressure on the lungs.
And because when we grieve, thatenergy stays literally in the
lungs and in the heart. And so a lot of people when they
grieve, including myself, will say, I just feel like my chest
is so heavy. I feel like I cannot breathe.
I feel like I have a 600 ton weight sitting on me.
And it's true. That's exactly how you feel.
And animals feel too. Horses and elephants are super

(39:32):
intuitive. They grieve just like we do.
They have ceremonies for their lost ones just like we do.
And so they feel the same physical pain that we do when it
comes to our lungs and our chestand our heart.
And so when you do the Reiki, itallows for that energy to just
lift and flow through and out sothat they don't feel that
heaviness and they're able to keep their immune system up.

(39:55):
Because when we grieve, we become sick, our immune system
is down. It's just so low.
And that's what opens up to diseases and then triggers and
activates other type of conditions.
So with Reiki, it's what I call a preventative method before any
animal, including ourselves. Gets to that state.
Which is never a bad thing, right?
Any way that we can prevent or help ourselves maintain a

(40:19):
healthy balance is phenomenal. We kind of just scratched the
iceberg here for you guys. There's so much more in depth
information. I definitely recommend everybody
at least experience one Reiki session.
Yeah, somebody that will do it for you and your dog in your
home. That was is also super

(40:39):
incredible. So yeah, guys, definitely check
out Howling and I'm Tatiana. And is there anything you would
like to leave the listeners? With tonight, I would just like
to say that yes, I invite everybody to experience a Reiki
session, whether it's for yourself or with your pet.
I know for me, I do offer a package.
It's called the bonding session and it's Reiki with you and your

(41:01):
pet at the same time. I just want to say is that a
touch of healing goes a long way.
I love that you do it for. People together and that you
call it a bonding session. That's so cute.
My gosh. If you do long distance sessions
for that too. Absolutely.
If you go on my website, WWE, yeah, www.howlingom.com, you'll
see all my packages. And I do private sessions where

(41:23):
I go to the home and I do this Reiki sessions there or I can do
long distance. I have clients in Puerto Rico
and North Carolina and I do longdistance Reiki for them.
Or you can choose the bonding session, which is Reiki for you
and your pet. And I also have a package for
when pets are transitioning fromgaining their wings and crossing
that Rainbow Bridge, and the Reiki works really well for that

(41:46):
also. Amazing.
Well, thank you so much for being here and we will
definitely have to touch base and have you come back and maybe
you'll have a really lately story to share with us the next.
