Prezes Przedsiębiorstwa Energetyki Cieplnej w Sandomierzu poinformował, że kierowana przez niego firma z roku na rok sprzedaje coraz mniej ciepła. Firma przynosi zyski tylko z produkcji energii. Prezes PEC pochwalił się uzyskaną premią kogeneracyjną w kwocie 30 mln zł, którą miejska spółka otrzyma w okresie 15 lat. Pozyskane środki zostaną przeznaczone na remont i modernizację ciepłowni „Stocznia” w prawobrzeżnym Sandomierzu. Koszt modernizacji i zamontowania silnika kogeneracyjnego to około 14 mln zł.
- Dekarbonizacja systemów grzewczych jest nieunikniona. Musimy jak najlepiej wykorzystać ten czas. Pozyskać jak najwięcej pieniędzy i zmodernizować system -powiedział R. Binięda, prezes PEC w Sandomierzu.
Szef Przedsiębiorstwa zapewnił, że w przyszłym sezonie nie są planowane podwyżki cen ciepła, a taryfy są już ustalone. Najprawdopodobniej PEC zamontuje kolejne stacje do ładowania samochodów elektrycznych.
