Hvis Dansk Sygeplejeråds forkvinde Dorthe Boe Danbjørg skal sætte ét ord på året 2024, er det “taknemmelig”. Det var nemlig året, hvor sygeplejerskerne stemte et overbevisende ja til overenskomsten, hun selv blev genvalgt som forkvinde, DSR kunne fejre 125 år som fagforening, og hun var på lige så mange arbejdspladsbesøg.
Og så var det også året, hvor Dorthe Boe Danbjørg sprang mange pladser frem på nogle af de såkaldte magtlister, og hun fortæller, hvad man egentlig kan bruge sådan noget til – og så svarer hun også på, hvorfor hun er proud to be a nurse.
I 2024 er det 125 år siden, at Dansk Sygeplejeråd i 1899 blev oprettet som en standsforening af en gruppe københavnske sygeplejersker. Det fejrer vi på Sygeplejersken med podcastserien ’Proud to be a nurse’.
