Deeper Than Dollars: Leadership and Financial Wellness
Brit Ormondroyd is a registered client associate and team administrator for a private wealth management team in the Bay Area, California. Originally from Wisconsin, Brit moved to the Bay in 2013 with her husband, Jon, $2,000 in cash, a suitcase, and a rusty old Kia. What began as a search for a coffee shop job led her to Peet’s Coffee—and unexpectedly, to connection, purpose, and the start of a new career path.
Now with over seven years in private wealth management, Brit combines structure, heart, and lived experience to support others in navigating the often overwhelming world of money. Her passion lies in helping people - especially women—develop a healthier relationship with their finances, one that reflects self-worth, emotional well-being, and long-term confidence.

In this episode of Tearin’ Up My Heart, Brit opens up about her personal journey—from financial instability and survival mode to professional success, leadership and a grounded sense of wellness. Because true wellness, she believes, isn’t just yoga and green juice—it’s also clarity, boundaries, and the courage to talk about money without shame.
