Greetings from Down Under! As I’ve been on my lovely Australian walkabout, I’ve been reflecting on the pressure I can feel as a wellness practitioner- personal trainer, Esogetic Colorpuncturist, yoga teacher, Pilates instructor to “do wellness right.” At times, I feel like there’s this unspoken idea that if we can just find the perfect routine or say yes to all the right things, we’ll finally feel balanced. We’ll finally “win” at our healing journeys. However, I believe real wellness, especially as a leader, isn’t about getting it all perfect. It’s about staying present, finding what actually works for you, and adapting as we evolve.
Join me as I break down 5 common wellness myths that I see come up all the time in leadership and coaching spaces. I also share my current, personal top 5 favorite wellness practices that help me stay grounded, especially when things feel messy or uncertain. This episode is a little different—no guest, just me sharing from the heart and hopefully offering you some space to breathe, reflect, and remember you’re not alone in this.
Thank you for listening. I hope this supports your wellness and leadership journeys. Please support this podcast by giving this episode a like, follow, leave a review, and/or share with a friend!

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
