Alex McDonald’s Story - “The Apartment Bathroom”

Alex McDonald recounts a visit to his long-distance girlfriend in LA. They begin to experience the sound of a woman crying in the apartment hallway - a sound that vanishes the moment they open the door to investigate. As the nights go on, the atmosphere darkens. Sleep becomes elusive and the disturbances escalate. One night at 3 AM, the sobbing moves inside the apartment. They trace the sounds to the bathroom where the cries escalate into thunderous banging on the bathtub walls. Terrified, they sleep outside and move out the next day.
