Out of the blue, Lisa feels an unshakable pull to uproot her family of six from their comfortable suburban life and renovate a run-down cabin on a plot of land in Modjeska Canyon, a remote community of just 600 people. Once they settled in, strange things started happening - sightings of shadowy figures, sudden illnesses, and a newfound obsession with transforming the property by hand. Later, Lisa learned about Madame Modjeska, the land’s namesake, and the uncanny ways in which their stories seemed to intertwine.
