The center left Democrat, who was influenced by her Union and Education based grandparents from the center of Illinois, took some time and chatted with me about the real kitchen table issues effecting Americans, the fallout coming from the “Big Beautiful Bill,” outperforming Vice President Harris in the 2024 election, and her success in bringing back over $680Million in federal tax dollars to her district to support Head Start, Infrastructure, and healthcare services. We had a little fun running through potential top of the ticket names, comparing and contrasting three of the most popular Governors from CA, IL, and KY. But!!!
