This Sunday, we're kicking off a churchwide discipleship journey. From kids to adults, we'll discover how the Fruit of the Spirit makes faith come alive in everyday life—and how together we can grow fruit that changes the world around us. 

Sometimes our weariness, our lamenting, our grieving are the prayers of our hurting souls... whether we're conscious of it or not. An initial impression of the song "One" was that it was the author's fervent prayer for unity and peace among people. Boy, were we wrong!

This Sunday in Behind the Music, we'll discover how an Old Testament prophet, the Beatles, and Jesus all remind us of the same truth: when life falls apart, God brings hope and rebuilding. 

We're kicking off Behind the Music with We Americans by the Avett Brothers—a raw yet powerful prayer about how our past, whether personal, collective, or biblical, is both beautiful and complicated, and how Jesus can redeem every part of our stories. 

Verse 14, "Many are invited, but few are chosen." summarizes this parable in Matthew 22, which deals with the way we respond to an invitation from Jesus. 

Is it easier to be generous if you're rich or struggling financially? Jesus says a rich heart builds the best barns.

This week, discover how one of Jesus' parables and a viral Coldplay moment reveal a powerful truth: what's fair in our world is justice—but what God gives is grace. 

The parable was one of the most powerful and effective teaching tools employed by Jesus during his ministry. Many of his profound and seemingly complicated messages found comprehension among the most unsophisticated listeners when Jesus addressed them with parables.

The most confusing question for many believers considering being baptized is how being immersed in water in any way resembles the death and resurrection of Jesus, since neither of those events were water-related.

Christian act of worship known as baptism is a believer's declaration of faith in Christ Jesus. The act is considered transformative, symbolizing Jesus' death and resurrection.
