Listen, if you don't put yourself first, nobody else is going to.
If you don't feel worthy, the world will reflect unworthiness back to you.
If you don't feel you belong, the world will reflect not belonging back to you.
Being selfish is equivalent to being FULL of yourself. Filling your own cup, loving yourself, being proud of yourself and your accomplishments and how far you've come.
The path to greatness and thriving is led through being selfish. Through putting yourself first and NOT through people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and trying so so so hard to not be seen as full of yourself, cocky, egotistical, conceited etc. But guess what? "If you're not full of yourself, who are you full of?" You're full of all the people who's opinions and judgements you are worried about if you were to be "too full" of yourself.
Have the courage to be SO FULL of YOU that there is no room for others judgements and opinions to effect you. Their opinions are their problem. Stay in your lane, keep your cup full, and allow all of your beauty and power to shine. Play BIG or go home. Playing small and hiding from our true power is for teenagers and people who would rather follow the herd. Be courageous enough to STAND OUT from the herd because you love yourself enough to be a little selfish!
