People pleasing is just one form of our "Good Girl" conditioning that most of us have an easier time relating with, maybe it feels less shameful or embarrassing to admit we are people pleasers than to admit that we full on operate from our deeply conditioned need to be seen as "good" or "good enough"!
In this episode I unpack how this is actually a self-defeating behavior that is not serving anyone, the people you are pleasing may feel served for a time, but when we are operating from this space and identity relentless it actually wreaks havoc in our relationships and friendships because we bury our truth, act from an inauthentic space and also build and harbor resentment the more we please others without caring for ourselves or honoring our truth.
