Until now Montana was a “may” state meaning school districts may allow released time religious instruction during the school day but were not required to even consider it.That changed with House Bill 343 sponsored by Representative Randy Gregg which made Montana a “shall” state requiring schools to grant released time Bible education when parents request it.
