(00:01):
If you own a home,
you might want to have a good handyman service as part of your collection of home service professionals,
Mike Gidich and his team at Honey
Dudes might be the guys.
Hey,
Mike,
how are you?
Great.
How are you today?
I am living the dream.
Thank you so much for asking.
So you guys are in the handyman business.

(00:22):
When I hear handyman,
I'm thinking of someone who can do a lot of things very well.
Tell me what you guys do as far as providing services to your clients.
Great question.
We get that a lot.
Um We're kind of fill that niche of things uh where there's really no one to fill those voids.

(00:43):
A lot of people need things like railings put up.
Uh just a light fixture changed out.
Maybe they had a leak from their toilet upstairs and their drywall repairs and,
and,
and a lot of those odd jobs,
honey do list and uh that a lot of people are sitting on especially those honeydew list that we do save relationships also by getting those done for you.
But a lot of those odds and ends list of everything from changing the door handle up to like a small bathroom remodel.

(01:10):
We move some small closet walls and things like that outside of that.
That's about where we cap it off.
Um,
we do a lot but we've narrowed our scope to a little so we can make sure that we're properly training on those things.
And,
uh,
that sounds kinda,
yeah.
So honey dudes sounds like a play off of a honeydew list,

(01:33):
right?
Is that what honey dudes is?
It's a play off the honeydew so often of and not to sound sexist,
often the wife will have a honeydew list.
And what's great is the husband or the spouse can call you guys because there's a lot of things that people can't do today.
I think things have changed a lot when I was younger.

(01:55):
It seems like the,
the man of the house was handier than he is today.
I could be wrong.
And so there must be a huge need for what you do today.
I think it's two parts.
I think that people are,
there's still a lot of handy people out there.
But what is your time worth?
I think people have found now through internet and information that,
that I can do really good at whatever that is investing or insure or whatever it is that their niche is and,

(02:20):
and that's where they do well,
and it doesn't take them as much effort to um even myself as these uh these honey do list and you get busy and they get started and generally there's five or six or seven things that you start and they're all unfinished.
So that's for us,
we can come in in a day or two and get it all done.
Get it all cleaned up and get that whole list done.

(02:42):
And,
uh,
looking at it from a user and what I would do is send my wife away for a long weekend hire honey,
dudes to come and get that list done.
And then when she comes home,
I have my tool belt on and like who I worked all weekend to get your list done for you.
Exactly.
You look like a hero when you hire honey,
dudes handyman.
Hey,
Mike,
I really appreciate your expertise.
Whenever you come onto the program,
you really do lend your expertise and I truly appreciate it.

(03:06):
Well,
thank you for having me and,
uh,
appreciate you.
Yeah,
we'll have you on again soon.
Ok.
All right.
