This is a vulnerable but important episode.
As humans we operate from a place of survival a great deal of the time. This is a very primal, reptilian response that we have little control over.
Our survival responses are formed in childhood as we navigated a very human existence in less than optimal environments - simply because we are human. This is completely unavoidable.
It becomes problematic however, as we move into adulthood and want to live our best life.
This episode talks about how we approach conflicts and challenges in life mainly from a place of survival that we have learned early in childhood, how this absolutely does not serve us, and it also talks about how we can really navigate this and learn how to move through the challenging times in life using them as a time for serious growth and opportunity.
This ultimately, of course, is an absolute blessing and can make a profound difference to how we see ourselves and the world, and how we can really save ourselves from a tonne of unnecessary suffering.
I hope you enjoy this episode. If you do, please like and leave a comment, and share it with anyone who you think would find it helpful so that we really can spread the word to help humans rediscover their true selves, living from a place of thriving and expansion, over primal survival.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
