(00:00):
Not every attack comes out of nowhere.
(00:02):
The enemy looks for openings.
— cracks in your armor, unguarded doors, unconfessed sin.
Scripture warns us in Ephesians 4:27, “And give no opportunity to the devil.
” That means he only gets in where he’s invited or allowed.
Demons don’t need full control to cause chaos.
— they just need permission.
And permission often comes through habits we’ve normalized,
(00:26):
emotions we’ve ignored,and sins we’ve justified.
The first gateway is sin.
When you willingly live in sin and refuse to repent, you step out from under God’s protection.
1 John 3:8 says, “Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil.
” Sin opens doors that prayer can’t close until repentance does.
(00:47):
The second gateway is trauma and pain.
The enemy often hides behind wounds.
— rejection, betrayal, fear.
When those wounds aren’t surrendered to God, spirits of fear, bitterness, or shame take advantage.
But when you give that pain to Jesus,He turns the entry point of attack into a testimony of healing.
(01:08):
The third gateway is the occult.
— things God calls detestable but culture calls entertainment.
Horoscopes,crystals,tarot cards,energy readings,manifesting,
“sage cleansing,” and witchcraft of any form are all spiritual poison.
You can’t invite darkness to help you fight darkness.
2 Corinthians 6:14 says, “What fellowship has light with darkness?
(01:34):
” None.
Another gateway is music and media.
What you watch, listen to, and repeat becomes an altar in your mind.
Satan was a worship leader before he was a deceiver.
— so it’s no surprise he still uses sound to control atmosphere.
Guard your playlists.
Ask yourself.
would the Holy Spirit enjoy this with me?
(01:55):
If not, that’s your answer.
Then there’s unforgiveness.
It may not feel demonic, but it’s one of hell’s favorite hiding places.
When you hold onto bitterness, you hold the key to your own prison.
Forgiveness isn’t weakness.
— it’s warfare.
It shuts the door the devil loves to crawl through.
Cursed or occultic objects can also carry spiritual weight.
(02:18):
— items tied to witchcraft, false religion, or sexual sin.
Acts 19:19 tells us that believers who practiced magic brought their books and burned them publicly.
Why?
Because you can’t cast out what you keep close.
If the Holy Spirit tells you to get rid of something, don’t hesitate.
Lastly, words are gateways.
(02:39):
Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
When you say things like “I’ll never change,” or “I’m cursed,
” or “I hate my life,” you’re unknowingly agreeing with the enemy’s lies.
Break those word curses in Jesus’ name and replace them with truth.
“I am forgiven.
I am free.
I am protected.
(02:59):
” The good news is this.
— every door that’s been opened can be closed through repentance, prayer, and the blood of Jesus.
You don’t need fear;
you need faith.
The enemy only stays where he’s welcome.
When you walk in holiness, humility, and truth, he has no legal ground to stay.
James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God.
(03:23):
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
” Submission to God is your shield.
Holiness is your boundary.
The name of Jesus is your weapon.
If you’ve realized there are open doors in your life, it’s not too late.
Pray this with me.
Jesus, I repent for every door I’ve opened to the enemy.
— knowingly or unknowingly.
(03:44):
I renounce every sin, every dark practice, every curse, and every lie I believed.
I close those doors right now by the blood of Jesus.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guard every area of my life.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
When Jesus walks into a room, demons walk out.
(04:05):
Keep your doors clean, your heart pure, and your spirit awake.
— because holiness is the highest form of warfare.
